New skyscraper in downtown Houston

    really? That picture screams lukewarm to me. A building that now looks outdated, a bunch of flat land with a tall out of place looking building in the middle of it, and then the downtown skyline which is also nothing impressive.

    Still a lot of greenery for a major metro city... and a nice demonstration of "urban sprawl" that the congested cities of the north would actually favor in certain situations.

    The best shot of Houston is one where you can visualize the Galleria area, Downtown, and the Med Center in one panoramic view. Three areas that would be the "central hub" in any smaller city all coexist under the overall complex that is known as Houston.
