I think branding people who joined after 2012 as LOFs isn't giving a fair shake. I've been loving the Rockets since the twin towers and Drexler era. I still remember the hustle and 3pt shooting of Sam Castle and Maxwell. I just hope we all just enjoy Rockets' success instead of nitpicking certain players and that's both for LOFs and LOHs.

Myths about us "LOF" classified members:
    1. Our BB IQ is classified as special-ed level.
    2. We've never touched a basketball.
    3. No matter how bad he plays, we still think he was the best player on the court.
    4. We are more happy to see Lin pad his stats versus getting a W for the team.
    5. We hate every other player not named Lin.
    6. We want Lin to play 48 minutes every night.
    7. We think Lin is the best guard in the league.

It's all good as Bulls is having a sizable lead over the Warriors.

Yup, I disregard both. It's that I feel like I'm reading a post that disregards the team. I can't stand the praise or the bashing. He's a rookie, basically. He's going to be a really good player. He'll likely be a top 10 pg in the next few years, but it's all knee jerk stuff from these 2012 posters.

I'm pumped about the win, but not happy that Harden played 43 minutes. We need to do something about that. He's going to get worn out.

Don't dismiss other people on this board just cuz they like Lin. Most everyone on here love Rockets basketball, recognize that Harden is boss, and probably have some experience in organized ball. A lot of us played ball in high school and some in college and there are also a few coaches on here albeit not in the professional level, and most have watched basketball since at least the 80s.
Do you even know that your post reeks of condescension? Probably not.

Good game y'all~ Harden showed once again why he's boss. Loving D-mo's soft touch on the post. Feeling Smith's hustle on the boards. Appreciating Parsons for all the little things he does that win games. Happy that Lin's shots are opening up his game and thereby his potential. Loving Rockets basketball. Ready to go out banging come playoff time.

    Go Rockets!!

Who said I was disregarding the team? Me & Los were just having a really fun discussion about Lin vs Rubio that is it. If he wanted to have a discussion about Harden & Alexie or Rockets vs TImberwolves I would be all for that as well. Goodness.

+1. We need to preserve him come playoffs time. I hope Rockets will take care of the game also in the first half and not only in the second half.

He played well but going with Delfino was for the better because we werent really getting beaten on the boards and Williams chose to shoot (and brick) jumpers over Delfino. He also stretched the floor better for harden and Lin's penetration

Rubio and Lin are two of my favorite players but I'd take Lin just cause he has the ability to create a shot and take over a game with his scoring. But i seriously think Rubios potential is the next Jason Kidd. The only knock on him is his shooting which he'll definitely improve just like Kidd did. He's only 21 and his court vision is already one of the best Ive ever seen. His stats dont tell u how good he is because of the injuries hes had but hes much better now then he was last year. If he has a healthy T-wolves team, he could be leading the league in assists for a decade and his scoring will slowly improve every year. Albeit I think his peak is only like 15-16 ppg. And his on ball defense and pretty good and he will probably lead the league in steals multiple years as well.

I would still take Lin over rubio though because Lin is also a great playmaker who will continue to improve, and in terms of scoring, he has extreme upside.

Ha, yes I do. But it comes from experience on this site.

I'd assume you are a pretty good poster, but if you are only here now because Lin was signed and you are gone tomorrow when he's gone and you are posting an average of 20 times a day about the same person, it gets old.

If you were really a basketball fan without rose colored glasses, the first thing you think to type would not be about Lin every game. Maybe every five games, but when you've got players like Asik, Harden, Parsons, DMo, Delfino, etc... he's just one guy on a really fun team to watch. There are other things to talk about if you actually love bball.

I scan the post and if it's all Lin stuff, I put on my clutchfans colored glasses and take it with a grain of salt. Because it's just salt. My problem is that there is too much salt on this otherwise, fabulous meal.
