I don't really take much stock in Win Shares but Rubio has a negative offensive WS right now, which is pretty hard to do. I still love watching him play though.

At the beginning of the season, it looked liked the Knicks and the Rox made the right decisions. Kidd & Felton was gelling and made the move by the knicks look like a a good decision. The rockets seemed like they overpaid for Lin.

After the allstar break, its seems the tides have turned...

Lin, even though he wasn't a true PG in college, has been a floor general and makes excellent passes. Don't get me wrong, he make bad passes sometimes that parson/harden shoot up and make, but at the same time he makes amazing passes that Asik just fumbles/tries to do to much on layups that he should dunk. So its a wash in terms of that. But can you imagine if Asik could finish easily.. Jeremy's assist stats would be closer to 9-10 and his turnovers would be high 1's/low 2's per 36. Smith is a great example of that tonight, by finishing easy passes from Lin.

I truly miss alley oops to chandler from lin... Hoping to see more athletic guys on the Rox... Griffin would be amazing to watch on this team..

hahaha funny to see the doubters now calling our starting PG average/good. it's laughable.
This is one game where he really stepped it up with Harden. THE BOTH of them did it.
to comeback from 20 points down, and u shrugg it off and say hooooo ho ........average/good.......
    KISS MY ARSE!
    They did GREAT.

Fair enough. And you know what I agree with you. Jason Kidd improved his scoring so Rubio definitely can. His ACL injury affected his development some but he is still quite young. I agree there is something special about Rubio in an era of scoring PG's Ricky is a breath of fresh air.

I could care less if you joined this site during world war two either you are a good poster or a bad poster or on my ignore list. I am also a really big Harden fan, Parsons fan, Greg fan, Asik fan, Royce fan & D-mo is really starting to grow on me. But clearly that doesn't matter.

Post Game is always peaceful when we win and have a good game

If Lin has a good game and we lose:

McHale sucks!! why you no play Lin more

If Lin has a bad game and we lose:

McHale sucks!!(Rocket fans) Lin sucks!! He belongs to the DLeague (you know the trolls that love annoying LOFs will come out). McHale don't know how to use Lin! (insert every LOF excuse for why Lin had a bad game except Lin himself)

If Lin has a bad game and we win:
Lin sucks!! He belongs to the DLeague (you know the trolls that love annoying LOFs will come out).
McHale sucks!!! (insert every LOF excuse for why Lin had a bad game except Lin himself)

This forum is best when Lin has a good game and we win. We can't have it any other way.

Lin is a good floor general unless you're missing the whole game. Combined with Harden, they're more lethal because they can do a little bit of each other's game. I don't know what's the thing with LOHs and LOFs. I'm just happy my Rocket's winning...

Did Robinson get hurt? I saw he played 5 early minutes and grabbed 4 rebounds! Why didn't he play after that?

Nah, McHale doesn't "hate" Jeremy (or anyone). (Not that the poster stated that.) But it's always a confidence booster when coach stands up for you.

The post championship versions of the Rockets lose this game, all of them. We are dealing with a completely new version. Finally.

Rubio is smarter than Lin based on his flopping. But I hate to see people do that, I think that is cheap way to play. I love Lin, he does not do it.

Then as a 2009er can I vouch for roxxy's post? Does it work that way

Also, notice that a lot of his haters also have a 2012 join date. So I wonder if you also disregard any 2012 posters if they say something bad about him?

It's best not to worry about the reputation of guys that have only been on here for a year. There are some exceptions, like the gal that kept translating chinese for us when Yao came into the league, but rule of thumb is that they aren't here for the long haul.

At least the Yao fans were talking about a top 2-3 center in the league.

Lin is about the 20th best point guard in the league and his fans want him to be the star player who takes all the shots at ends of games when we have a much better closer.

It's the disillusioned non-sense that has no err of tongue in cheek that's hard to read. Tinman, for instance, would be annoying if there wasn't a sense of humor behind the reposting of the glory days. It's like these Lin fans think he's the savior to the team instead of being a young player with lots of potential. I hope he develops into the top pg in the NBA, but he's shown no signs of consistent greatness, as of yet.

If Rubio is having the exact same stats as Lin had tonight, EVERYONE on this board will be calling him the next greatest PG of NBA.
