Small ball throws a lot of our opponents off so it works a lot. Minny thought they could run with us since their bigs were out but I knew it wasn't going to last the whole game.

 

Not sure what's up with McHale tonight, but he was milking Harden, Parsons, and Lin for every drop. Glad he did it though since he needed every drop of Harden and Lin to win this game. Smith also came up big in the fourth as well.

 

Real talk, Rocket played like ****; This game shouldn't have been close. If the Rockets played the way they did in the 2nd Half in the 1st they would have won by 45.

D-Mo had a hard time closing out on Derrick Williams on the 3-point line. T. Robinson wasn't a scoring threat.

Delfino filled the PF spot just fine tonight, if it was against Blake Griffin or Lamarcus Aldridge, obviously that won't work.

 

Fusing Smith with Asik would look something like Dwight Howard.

 

Definitely. Tmac did that against a superior SAS team and was fnished the said come back with a game-winning steal and pull-up fast break 3-pointer. The whole sequence was like something out of an anime episode or something.

Called it! Move Greg Smith to the starting lineup! His chemistry with Lin/Harden is great, and the 2nd unit could use DMo's offense

Yeah, I know anything good said about Lin sets off a whole lot of nonsense around here, but he turned it up and the team followed. And I was very happy to see McHale put Lin on Barea and Harden on Rubio. Rubio ain't making shots anyway.

I'll gladly pay 18M to that guy. Maybe they can learn fusion from Vegeta and Goku.

 

True. At least in the 1st half when Harden was playing half asleep.

Harden was so boss today.... Where did all that energy come from all of a sudden in the second half??

 

Lin and Harden were just fantastic the second half.

Second game in a row that I thought Lin looked really good, defense was sharp. I wish Lin wouldn't hesitate taking his shots, just shoot the ball, you can shoot.

Harden can really pass the ball, and he will pass it when players move and get open.
