Akim, I'm not taking a stance here either way but your arguments are really poor. You need to take a few steps away from the keyboard and really think more about this before you try to debate with intelligent people.
and the same can be said for people who believe in GOD. They do not have to prove to you GOD is real, only prove they believe in GOD.
So you don't trust the "evidence" but you accept the conclusions? Interesting. And sorry if this has already been covered. I have been in and out of this thread. Do you just believe in a generic god separate from the major religions?
I believe Religion can not fully comprehend GOD. Which I believe is silly for so many religions to have been formed. The only thing that actually does make sense from the Bible is Jesus Christ being here, especially if GOD can not be comprehended by Human Beings. Some of the conclusions I believe, some I don't. Maybe I'm a horrible believer, but that is more or less my beliefs.
Either God exists or he doesn't exist. If he doesn't exist, then he doesn't exist and there's point listening to what he supposedly said. But even if he did exist, my loyalty to the United States trumps any loyalty to God, and so I still don't pay attention to what he supposedly said. Consequently, I find the question irrelevant.
I got to 1 up you... sorry. <object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lcNX0IQdHgE?hl=en_US&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lcNX0IQdHgE?hl=en_US&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Ye you have no evidence that there arent evidences proving its based on real person/events. See my original question? Why do I need to prove there is no God? It all makes sense now.
Whoever thinks that non-believer needs to prove the non-existence of God. Plenty of them in this thread.
No, if you assert something is real the burden of proof is you, not on me to disprove something. I'm not really concerned with what you believe but when you push that into policy and the public sphere then that's a different matter.
That is understandable, but if people make the statement, " I can not prove there is in fact a GOD, but I do believe in a higher power" that is not trying to say they have proof of GOD, just merely they believe in GOD and that's the only thing they have to prove. As it is in my case, I am not saying I have any proof of GOD. I have a very good reason for having belief GOD is somewhere out there. But that is for a totally different discussion.
Did it have anything to do with Hakeem's amazing run in the 1995 playoffs??? That's the closest I have ever coming to believing...hehe.
