I guess after the league admit it was "miscalled" by the referees, no defensive players are allowed to stand 3 feet near Kobe the next time he shoots the last second shot else it will be automatic foul on the defensive player.
= those insubordinate refs were supposed to give this game to LA! get those players back out there! turn those lights back on! turn those lights back on!!
I'm still waiting an apology from the NBA on the Mavs game this year. Wrote those ****ers an email and got a generic BS copy and paste reply. NBA has turned into WWE
I don't see how people don't think it was a dirty play. I hate the Lakers just as much as the next guy, but the way Jones contested that shot was unnatural. He clearly sticks his foot out under Kobe much further than a normal defender would. Kobe kicks his leg out all the time when he shoots. As do many other players. Hell, the average Chandler Parsons 3 pointer has more leg kickout than that shot.
Yeah, I don't get it either, and I really dislike Kobe. But either you watch the tape or not. Check Cheetah's video everyone. That lame defender just walks up under Kobe, not ever really contesting the shot. barely leaving the floor. The rules say it's a foul if you don't leave room for the shooter to land. Whatever. It's just basketball, and Kobe shouldn't be whining in public about, on twitter and all that. But yeah, I think Jones knew what he was doing. Otherwise, it's like he just started playing basketball -- it's that awkward to put your feet there. It's lame that you get called a Kobe lover just for stating an opinion of what you watch, but whatever.
I can't stand Kobe Bryant, but after really closely looking at that video it's clear that Jones moves his right foot out under Bryant causing the injury. I'd be super pissed if someone did that to me -- I've felt the pain of severe ankle sprains playing basketball and soccer -- if I thought someone did it on purpose I'd really want to hurt them.
I dont like kobe as much as you do but to Those who are saying that kobe kicked is leg out, I challenge you to do jump as high as far back as possible while doing a fade away... I guarantee you will look like you are kicking you leg out... it is nearly impossible to keep your leg back if your doing a fade away... while if you look at the tape... jones was still walking towards kobe while kobe was clearly in the way down...
Nothing wrong about Kobe stating the fact. Don't really like why the NBA has to apologize, especially since Stern was the reason CP3 is not a Laker. Kinda passive-aggressive there, Stern
Where exactly was the foul? Way after the shot? If that's the case it would be some bailout because Jones didn't touch Kobe. The referee was standing right there with the both of them... point blank, its over. Why are people still crying about this.. the dude was already 11-33, they deserved to lose that game.
Total BS that the NBA released a corrections statement on that foul. I hope they revisit the entire season's worth of games and do the same or just STFU.
Well look here folks... Kobe a game time Decision... http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/...ecision-vs-indiana-pacers-ankle-injury-031513 We are witnessing the best Media manipulator of our time. Nobody is going be able to guard him within 3 ft. Might as well not try to blow on him.
I don't think Indiana blows on people -- they have pretty solid defensive principles. LOL. Where did you learn that blowing on people was good defense? That's kind of like yelling "hey batter batter! SWING batter!" in baseball. Not based on good scientific analysis.
I was exagerating. That being said, I think Kobe has become a pretty good judge and receipient of blows. I'm sure he'll let them them know if they blow too hard or too slow and then Vanessa can post pics on twitter later too. _________________________________________________________________
