He didn't have a good season because of a hand injury, affecting his shooting (he is usually a good 3 point shooter). When he recovers, he will be back to his old form and drop some 20/20's as he has done before. The hand injury only affected his shooting and offense, but he ability to rebound hasn't been affected.
2013/01/05 Broken finger, sidelined indefinitely. 2012/12/17 Missed 1 game (right thumb injury). 2012/11/21 Missed 9 games (broken right hand). 2012/04/26 Missed the last 7 regular season games (concussion). 2012/03/10 Missed 1 game (back spasms). 2011/04/13 Missed the last 6 regular season games (strained left groin). 2011/03/30 Missed 3 games (groin). 2010/03/16 Missed 2 games (sprained left foot). 2009/12/04 Missed 18 games (hand injury). Edit: You know KLove missed about 20% of regular season games in his 5 years career? (44 games already this season)
Haha you're really reaching aren't you? A concussion makes you injury prone? "Missed 1 game due to thumb injury" wow 1 game? None of his injuries hint to the fact he will have continua problems. His knees and ankles are okay. He's missed games due to nagging injuries spread out over years and missed a few games, not major health problems like Yao Ming.
Didn't you ask a simple question of, "When has Love ever been injured?? Before this year with a broken hand?" I provided you with a list and data and number of games his missed. No repped or thanks. THOSE were the injuries and games he missed. If missing 20% games is not injury prone to you, please don't let others convince you otherwise. I mean why tell me about it???
Wow, surprised that many votes for career loser. Klove would make this team a contender, dude scores 3/4 his points w/o plays setup for him. Fits perfectly with Harden. Our main weakness is rebounds and defense. His D is not that great, but it's on par with any 4 we put out there. His offensive rebounding alone would put us at 110+ ppg due to an extra 4-5 possessions.
This guy is the missing piece and he is everything we need at the 4. Rebounding, three point shot, post moves, strong and superstar ability.
KG is one of the greatest PF of all time. Love has a lot to prove. He is a great rebounder, good offensive player. Before injury top 15 player in the league. He is not KG obviously.
If given the choice, I'd want a player who can pound inside rather than a 3-pointer. We need somebody who can score inside during the playoffs and Love isn't that. If we can somehow get Blatche for peanuts, he can be good for this team.
exactly the same reason !!! Some people see it some not , sometimes i kinda want that rockets trade him ( can start following D-Mo new team then ) and i bet after year or two they ll regret it.
What i want to say , you should be very cautious with injury's , they tend to come in bunches sometimes , thank god we did not sigh him this year , this gives bit of time for D-Mo to develop and better evaluate in what direction Love carrier goes.
He isn't much of a fit, because he isn't good defensive player. Rockets are already elite offensive and rebounding team ranked 3rd on offense and 1st in defensive rebounding.
