I'm very afraid that this could be it as well...I think it also depends on how they feel Posey is coming along in his re-hab. If they truly believe he can be that guy going forward, then I think they may just bring back Walter for cheap, but if there are any questions about Posey's future, then I think they go after someone big time in the draft+ look to add an above average FA.
No, lol... I think it's also Winston, return to rushing champ form for Foster. Draft a top flight WR, and LB... That would be my ideal
Tania Ganguli @taniaganguli Reed to CSNH on why leave #Ravens: "It’s a lot of stuff under the table that don’t need to be discussed 4rm an organizational standpoint."
... Last night, Reed went to dinner with Texans coaches and his two college teammates who play for the Texans: receiver Andre Johnson and center Chris Myers. Dinner went late and the players spent more time with Reed afterward. CSN Houston found Reed then and talked with him about how his day went. “I had some great meetings today from the owner all the way down to the intern trainer who’s driving me around,” Reed told the station. “Just great people, really. I plan to do my part. Just talking to the coaches, knowing what they need and seeing what happened on film against teams like New England. Things we discussed, and knowing what we’ve done in Baltimore and how battle tested we were. The adversity we went through. Knowing the team here in Houston. … If I’m that piece, hey, here I am.” Thursday morning, Reed arrived on owner Bob McNair’s private jet and spoke with the Chronicle about his time in Baltimore. He had the tone of someone saying goodbye to the town where he spent his first 11 years of his career. That tone remained Thursday night. “It’s a lot of stuff kind of under the table that don’t need to be discussed from an organizational standpoint,” Reed said, when asked why he would leave Baltimore. “Baltimore has been my home. I gave everything to Baltimore and always will. Love the community, love the fans, the fans love me back. They know I want to be there, but if I have to make another decision, I am in that position right now because of the circumstances. Houston was the team that I looked at and felt like they were where we were in Baltimore years ago. Right there on the brink. If you was to play with anybody, you want to play with one of your brothers that you fought with before.” Reed mentioned three players who he’d want to win another ring with — all three former Miami teammates; Reggie Wayne, who plays for the Colts; Frank Gore, who plays for the 49ers, who also need a safety; and Johnson, with whom he spent Thursday evening. “We’ll see what happens in the next few days,” Reed said.
