LMAO. Up until the last five games, Conley had been averaging 14/6/2.1 on 42% shooting since the Gay trade. In the last five games (four of which have been against lottery teams) he's gone 18/10/3 on 51% shooting and all the sudden he's on Paul's level.

What Conley's been doing the last five games? Paul's basically been doing the last five years.

    You are ALWAYS wrong.

Is Mike Conley at Kevin Durant's level yet?

Kyle Lowry's level, bwhwhwah. The rockets don't even want the bowling ball.

Conley has continued to improve every year such that the Grizzlies decision to play him ahead of Lowry and trade Lowry to the Rockets doesn't look that bad anymore.

And Conley's well-rounded, can do a bit of everything. And like most players, if he became a bigger option, he'd average better stats.

    But he's not a top 10 PG.

yeah, I guess it's trolling. I wonder how the grizzlies even beat any team in the league with the sub par talent they have and the rockets can barely hold on to the 8th seed.

I am just trying to point out that Conley, whether you believe it or not, has taken his game up a notch, and he is a MAJOR reason the grizzlies are grind every team they play into a nub.

Conley has always had very good +/- ratings. The regularized adjusted plus/minus per 100 possessions from the NBA for pgs last year was
    Chris Paul: +7.8
    Steve Nash: +4.2
    Rajon Rondo: +3.6
    Tony Parker: +3.5
    Stephen Curry: +3.5
    Russell Westbrook: +3.4
    Kyle Lowry: +3.1
    Jason Kidd: +2.9
    Mike Conley: +2.7

No, you're trying to say he's as good as Paul, Westbrook, and Parker and you're wrong, like you're always wrong.

There goes "what"s typical Rockets low-blow insult he always falls back on whenever he gets too emotional/defensive about his Grizzlies.

Well, perhaps if you made a thread about the actual All-Stars the Grizzlies have ( I thought Gasol should have been an All-Star over Aldridge), and not players like Conley/Gay....

his season averages are not indicative of his recent play. everybody always talks about scoring when they rank point guards, whereas I remember, even last year, sam cassell took john wall to watch mike conley play.

people are blinded by scoring, but when you have one of the best point guards in sam cassell taking his player to watch mike conley, it says something about how good conley is.

sure didn't take john wall to see kyle lowry play, that's for sure.

    1. Make a Grizzlies thread on Rockets fan forum about how Grizzlies players need to be more appreciated.

    2. Gets defensive, take pot shot at Rockets.

    3. Repeat.

His recent play is not indicative of his true talent level.

    sactown - resident heat fan

all fine posters on the dish (sactown is annoying sometimes though). you just make me root against the grizz which is a shame since they seem like such a likable team.

Well, this is a reasonable thread. Your Rudy Gay thread is the gold standard of a homer embarrassing himself, but this one is indisputable.
