started 16/16 gms in 5 of last 7 seasons. Including the last 2. I'll go ahead and refrain from questioning his health until it's a real issue. Missed 4 games with a groin injury in 2009 Missed 6 games with a hip injury in 2010 His neck has been hurting for like 5 years but it's a known quantity and he can play with it He got hurt this year but played/started through it effectively. So I don't know...I'd say that's as hurt as anyone gets over 7 years

I was looking back at the Danieal Manning signing, and he said one of the things he liked was that "They told me they envision me roaming the field on defense." Ed Reed is a roamer if there ever was one. I wonder if they're gonna ask Manning to change his style at all--and if so, how he'll take it. I would assume fine, but just a thought (for reference, he also said this back when he signed: "They told me just free safety right now, but anything can happen. As you know, in my past, things have a tendency to change for me on defense.")
