Winston's stock isn't exactly high right now. He's been cut by two teams in two years.

If we did bring him back, it would be at vet minimum or close to it. Now that being said, I'm not sure if he would take that. But, that is the only way the Texans do bring him back.

by losing quin, secondary help jumps to the top of the list of priorities. we were either going to sign quin for $5M per or reed for $5-6M per... i'll take reed.

We can't unless something magical happens. I am concerned about WR2 as well but I just have a feeling there will be no splash when it comes to filling that role. I hope I am wrong.

We need to change our offensive scheme and get away from the play action bootleg, run, run etc. If we are going to play that offensive next year (I assume we are) then our running game is a lot more important than filling the WR2 spot.

They aren't signing a legit WR2 in free agency because there isn't one.

I'm hoping for something like Ed Reed, Winston on a cheap contract, Heyward-Bey on a cheap contract and then a draft that nets you a real stud at WR and then some defensive backs.

I don't think WR2 is a priority for Kubiak. Vincent Brown, David Nelson, someone like that probably gets brought in. At this point I believe Walter was cut to free up cap space in general, not to make room for another WR2.

One way to free up money would be to trade Ben Tate for future picks and let Forsett be the backup or draft a late round runner.

Hopkins from clemson in the first round would be great. Kid can flat play.

Ben Tate has no significant cap number for us and no one would give you anything but a 6 or 7 to acquire him. (if that) His greatest value is as the backup to Arian.

    Hope Lance is right!

Goes to show what a difference a year makes. You could've received an early pick for him prior to last year.

    THIS!!!!!!!!

    Kid is a baller.

Initially wanted Tavon Austin, but because of his combine performance (2nd fastest 40), he won't be around when we pick. Hopkins should be.

Probably not. Teams don't give up high picks for running backs.

There were numerous reports Cleveland was offering just that before selecting Richardson.

There weren't reports, there were fan suggestions.
