Hmm, well, I was assuming that we could do that over 3 years, but I suppose it would be even better over 4.
All I'm saying is that the length of the contract doesn't matter with Reed. Nobody should freak out if they hear that he signed a 5 year deal.

I don't know...I've been noticing that on my Twitter feed. I checked my settings and they're set to Central Standard Time.
I've noticed that about most of the tweets recently posted. They're synced to something called the UTC time zone. "Coordinated Universal Time"
^ Cool stuff. Thank you, sir. I JUST NOW got the Texans "Wrap Up" email: WEEKLY WRAP-UP: REED TO RELIANT The Texans will host nine-time Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed for a free agent visit on Thursday at Reliant Stadium. The eight-time All-Pro and 2004 NFL Defensive Player of the Year has 61 career interceptions, which ranks 10th in NFL history. LINK Texans general manager Rick Smith left Houston at 7 a.m. on Thursday to pick up free agent safety Reed in Texans chairman and CEO Bob McNair's private jet. LINK (video from NFL Network) I'll check out the time settings. Must be the scripts handling the styles to display well on the forums, too. I was about to go all SwoLy on you, MadMax, and tease you with the "old news is so exciting" pic.

Part of those numbers are that Reed is more of a gambler, plus he had less help and was asked to do a lot more. He had Pollard opposite of him where Quin had Manning.
Wait....disregard the 49er signing of Delmas:

Ok fine, my bad!RT @albertbreer: Louis Delmas did NOT sign with the Niners. Care to tell me why you disagree? Ed Reed is cut from the same cloth as Ray Lewis, and plays with a chip on his shoulder. Quin wasn't a bad player, but he's not a fiery personality, nor will he command the on-field and locker room respect that Reed does.
