Jack the Giant Slayer: 7/10 Not a bad movie at all, pleasantly surprised...

 

"The man with the iron fists" 3/10

Movie had alot of potential but crappy CGI, comical gore and RZA's bad acting just doomed it for me. Not some of Tarantinos best work.

Pretty horrible. The actors weren't actually that bad but the writing was tragic.

 

Dude thanks! I honestly feel better about how bad it was knowing QT didn't direct it.

I have to agree. Only part I liked was Dave Batista's golden colossus scene. That was so badass. :grin:

 

Yeah that "presented by" thing is pretty much meaningless in terms of quality, it's more a marketing ploy. The movie's crapitude can be blamed on RZA.

 

All of the movies I've seen that were "Presented by" Tarantino have been really bad.

 

OZ, The Great and Powerful - 3/10

 

I've avoided them all, Guillermo del Toro has a much better track record with the "Presented by".

 

The Man With The Iron Fists

Since it's been getting so much attention here, I thought I'd give it a go. It did not disappoint, probably one of the best action/kung fu movies today. It's got the drama of Once Upon a Time in China, the elegance of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and the intensity of Dredd and The Raid Redemption. Powerful story with no-nonsense dialogue. It was a feast for the eyes. I'm watching it again in 5 minutes.

Too old for me. I came in thought it was suppose to be an action scary sci-fi. All I got was crappy animations/models and the "daily life" of living on a starship.

Your 16 years old right? Alien is fantastic. Perhaps you should stick to Michael Bay transformer movies.
