Someone in the other thread posted that he saw Connor at fitzgeralds (I think) and said that he just needs to pass a physical of some sort...take it as you will but I hope that he stays
Reading up more on him, yeah that seems like it. Pretty thin on premier pass rushers this free agency, Barwin may luck into a nice contract to reward his crappy season.

The only way we should resign Barwin is if it's on the cheap. Mercilus might already be better than Barwin.
Do you like winning? If you like winning Super Bowls, you like Ed Reed. Period. The Texans can't let him leave today without striking a deal.
That they are flying him in means they want to sign him and think they can. If he leaves without a deal that means he isn't signing here. Free agent visits rarely end without a contract for a player that ultimately signs there.

The good thing if we get Reed is that it doesn't rule out drafting a safety this year either. Wouldn't be bad to get a guy with good potential to learn from Ed Reed for 2-3 years.
