Considering our record vs SAS, OKC, Clips and our record vs Memphis, I'd say yes.

is this record thing anything to go about? and perhaps there are other more favorable matchups now that we are left without our starting and 1st bench PFs?

I think we match up well with them. Asik and Gasol are a wash. Conley is a slight edge over Lin but maybe not if you consider Lin's alaround game. Either way its close. Parsons gets the edge a small forward. Memphs gets the edge at PF no doubt but DMo and TRob are both getting better every game and they bring youth and speed that Memphis can't match so that may be much closer by playoff time. And finally they don't have anyone like Harden. Not even close and that gives us a big edge at the 2. So I think we can beat them.

    Houston Chronicle's post-game recap...

    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2013/03/rockets-launch-past-suns-in-second-quarter/

Reminds me of the Tyson Chandler interview package during the Knicks-Denver game, where Chandler basically said that you Know you're on a good team when it's Not just the coaches calling the players out, but the Players calling each other out.

It's really looking like we got a great bunch of kids on the Roster.

Long time lurker (been a Rockets fan for years), finally made an account.

Anyway, great win. We needed something like this to kickstart the team. We only have 2 more back-to-backs, and the 2nd games of those back-to-backs will be some of the toughest. Guys like Lin, Parsons, and D-Mo will really have to step up. We know what we'll get from Harden and Asik (for the most part). Let's see what the others guys can bring us.

“It was J. Lin,” Rockets forward Chandler Parsons said of the message Jeremy Lin led during the timeout. “We said something like, ‘C’mon, this game is way bigger for us than it is for them. We have to win this game with defense.’

Lin is the leader? Come on.

He didn't before. Tony Allen's defense is overrated. Anyway he's already killing Memphis on offense.

They would be a great matchup for us. They're the only team we could play that I think we would actually be favored against. Or at least 50/50 odds.

We also suck on back-to-backs. Which is surprising since they're such a young team! I guess they just don't pace themselves well enough?
