How come Ron Artest didn't get a tribute video when he returned to Houston?

These videos do nothing to support your argument related to the Pistons/Pacers incident.

I can find the same type of stuff for a variety of players.

why are you guys talking about Detroit/Indiana?

while he was on his best behavior of his career, Artest was on our team for a year. Scola was a beloved Rocket for 5 years

exactly, the fact he did so well to control his impulses made me respect him alot during his tenure. He also respected Yao, shane, chuck, deke and everybody else enough to know how to behave. We just had a great locker room. I loved his time here and thought he was great, anybody else can f.o.

If Yao doesnt get injured i think we upset the Lakers

and Stern gets his Yao vs. Dwight final

there was just no money in the Rockets after Yao got injured, so we got screwed by the refs

it would have been Rockets vs. Magic in the finals 12 years later

As I already mentioned, if Artest goes back to his team bench and sits down, the whole thing is forgotten.

There was a LOT of tension prior to the incident.
    The Malice at the Palace

Ben Wallace (forward/center, Pistons): He told me he was going to hit me, and he did it. That was just one of those things. It happened in the heat of the battle.

Montieth: In a way, he provoked it passively by lying down on that table. He picked up a set of radio headphones like he was going to talk to people back home. He was clowning around a bit too much. In his mind, he was saying, "Look, I'm not doing anything here. I'm trying to be good." It didn't work out that way.

Wilson: It was almost like an "I'm so cool" thing to sort of disassociate yourself and act above everything. Which I think is how the crowd took it.

Artest is a thug and just likes to incite people as the MANY videos show.

Agreed... Scola and battier poured their hearts out for multiple seasons in houston. Artest made a pit stop. If we make one for artest we might as well make one for von wafer too... Artest just wanted his pay day. We wouldn't give it to him. He moved to l.a. No need for a tribute...

We need an Otis Thorpe tribute.

pr0n Artest didn't get a tribute because he took a shower with Kobe right after our playoff exit and vowed to become his servant starting the following season.

Yeah, I can definitely get behind this. OT was a big part of the greatest era of the franchise. When everything is said and done Scola will be remembered as a Rocket. I like Artest depsite his antics but he played 2/3's of a season here. In the halls of Rockets lore he belongs in the basement next to the James Posey display.

Yes, he clearly pushed a 6'8 250 lbs man so hard that he was propelled 30 ft into the stands. Most flops involve some contact, what makes them look foolish is the exaggeration.

    But you're a Tmac fan?

When Ron is on a team, he represents. Remember his R haircut? He's loyal to his peeps.

lol the pic I made years ago. Back when Ron here he was like a first option chucker but after he went to L.A he became like 4th option. Met Kobe up in the shower and promise to win a championship for him or something like that.
