With Quin/Casey/Walter/Barwin(?) gone, who all could the Texans sign?

By that I mean with the cap room that the Texans have could they potentially snag say both Ed Reed AND Asomugha?

I've said this before, but having a tiny number of 25+ page topics is stupid as hell

Having more topics with more focused discussions is a better way to organize things (see: every other ****ing message board in existence)

That way you only have to comb through a much smaller number of topic titles you don't care about to get to a set of posts you do care about instead of filtering through hundreds of posts to find the small number you care about.

anyway thanks for the passive aggressive pointer though bro, appreciate it

Wasn't trying to be passive aggressive, was guiding you to the 2 most active off season threads regarding the Texans. You're question has a better chance of being answered there...more people would probably just pass this thread up...

Couldn't agree more with this. It's hard trying to dig through those long threads to find the answer to a question that may or may not be there. Then when you pose the question, you have no idea if someone who could answer ever sees it or not. And if they do, there is no guarantee you will ever find it. I appreciate the more specific discussions.

I don't have any real insight to offer other than I believe with the release of Kevin Walter, the Texans should have close to $12M in cap room. They still have several of their own free agents to sign or replace, so not sure if both of those guys would be feasible. Ed Reed seems like a bigger need at this point. However, I think Asomugha will still get a chunk of money from the Eagles, so he may not be looking to break the bank. Still probably doubtful they could pull in both.

 I love it when rookies and noobs try to come in to ClutchFans and tell us how things are "in other message boards"...
We're trying to slim down the number of threads based on the related topic, dude. We're trying to make it easy on a database and site that already has dozens of thousands of members, mealeons of posts, hundreds of thousands of threads. Making another thread is not only redundant, but annoying, and makes you look lazy about not wanting to read through a topic or answer that can already be answered if you just noticed it.

Clutchfans is clean and lean and is here to stay for a reason. Let's keep it that way.

Good try, Uprising, but I don't think he's going to get it.

I'd settle for Ed Reed and Eric Winston.

Honestly I would love it if the somehow managed to grab Reed, Winston and maybe Heyward-Bey.

That would make it to where I don't think you are in trouble next year at any position if you don't go there 1st.

In the first I'd like them to get a playmaker WR. If there is a Wideout there great, if not, take a guy you can use in the slot. You need playmakers, homerun hitters.

Then you need to come out of the draft with a safety, a LB, probably another DB, another pass rusher and hopefully a project QB.

I agree with this, but how is this thread any different than the other one? "Who all should the Texans sign" and "Should the Texans sign _____"

Doesn't really need two, I agree people tend to overreact about what they consider bad threads but cluttered forums with thousands of threads on the same thing are much worse.
