Yeah, that looks painful. I've sprained my ankle badly before and the first minute or so hurts like a motherf......

He's definitely out or gonna be majorly affected by that.

I'm assuming severe sweeling in Kobe' ankle. I wish i had caught it. I thought Kobe was faking bc he missed the shot. I guess I was wrong.
I thought if he had hit the shot, he would have played ot.

way to go Vanessa. now every trainer and team doctor in the league knows the severity of Kobe's injury.

    Arian Foster would be proud

he needs to sit out. this isn't just a matter of playing through pain, he could start having sprains every months and then surgeries, if he doesn't heal up properly. Time for Dwight/Nash combo to live up to the hype.

I'm sure a higher dosage of the baby fetuses PED he injects daily would help too...

Exactly. This is Kobe's standard operating procedure. He's always injured and playing through pain when the Lakers do bad, but as soon as he has an open drive to the basket, somehow he's miraculously healed until he scores the bucket. Then he'll remember he's supposed to be hurt and act like it's still a struggle for him to be such a hero.

I bet you anything these aren't even real pics. I saw the injury, his ankle barely bent, he walked off with no limp... if it looks like a duck, you know the drill. The whole idea is to build it up like Kobe is really hurt, but he's such a warrior that he's going to come out and play not one month, not one week, but one day after being crippled! That way the world can see what a warrior he is, the league and the refs will respect him and give him more bogus calls than usual, he'll get ludicrous "MVP" chants on the road, and it'll just make a great story. Come on, we've seen this **** before:

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/v4vnJjUimvM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

That said, Kobe's fan club parade is mostly made up of tweens and teens so they may have missed this dramatic piece of fiction.

that would be a silly bet.

there's a fine art to rooting against Kobe and the Lakers, and it begins with recognizing his talent and drive first, and then ripping his team to shreds for being old, slow, and unathletic.

in other words, some kobe haters don't speak on behalf of others and make themselves look silly.
