That behind the back pass to Asik was sweet.

This guy's gonna be so good in a few years. That's why all this talk about blowing up the team for Howard-CP3-Smith is such BS.

Just be patient and we'll have an elite AND homegrown team.

D-Mo will be a complete offensive player. If his defense and rebounding improves as well, he will be an all star.

Just think about when he gets used to playing with this team. His offense is amazing for a rookie, I hope he gets to start for the whole year next year.

If he can be at least average on D and rebounding I think he will be a very good pf. If he can be above average D and rebounding I think he will be an all star.

I'm not saying that I'm not a homer in my opinion but I'm excited to see what he can do over the rest of the season.

My favorite was the right-handed running hook shot.

DMo for 3Mo. If he can just get a minimum of 8 boards a game, he will be the Rox PF for the next decade

Let' jump to conclusions based on one game, ok!?!?!

    lol

Great game. Kid's offense is so polished for his age, might very well be the second best scorer on the team by next season. I hope his D keeps improving. As for his rebounding, I think he is a good rebounder but two disadvantages here:

    1) The system we run takes the PF out of a lot of rebounding opportunities. Everyone we've played at the position has underperformed vs their typical rebounding numbers.
    2) He needs to keep hitting the weights. He seems to be doing this already.

It's hard enough to stop a hook shot but when you can run across the lane like that and make a hook, it's amazing.

I think you're absolutely right. It seems the system we're running this year and the way we use our PF's as well as the presence of Asik is causing our PF's to be unable to rebound consistently.

It seems the system calls for the PF to rush down the court right after the opposing player shoots and relies solely on an Asik rebound and outlet pass. And offensive rebounds? Forget about it. When the PF is spending all of their time on the 3 pt line there's no way they will ever be able to grab an offensive rebound if they want to recover on defense.

I absolutely agree with this point as well. Motiejunas has an amazing post up game, especially in half court situations. When the game slows down I believe we should go to D-Mo in the post to make things happen. He can be a special player if utilized correctly.

He's been pretty good in defense tonight also. Despite couple of mistakes he did well for rookie.
