They should have just kept Scola. He would have been better than whomever they have now and if we get someone in the offseason they can amnesty him.

True, if we are true contenders for a Championship this season. However, if the plan was to get PPat and Morris more playing time and increase their trade value so they could be moved at the trade deadline, then getting rid of Scola last summer was probably for the best. Personally, I don't think we are true contenders this year, with or without Scola, so I think it's probably for the best that we went with the young guys at PF. D-Mo and TRob are struggling, but it may turn out that the playing time they are getting this year pays off next year or the year after. This year is just year one in the rebuilding process. I do miss Scola though, he was my favorite player over the past few years.
Thomas Robinson was on TrueHoops TV - he thought advanced stats meant stats that hasn't happened yet. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=9048971
I hope the tree point shot is on tonight because, as usual, that is all they are going to be shooting.

If we lose this game this site is going to blow up lol. For good reason i guess, no one wants to have another end of season destruction that took place last year.
Doesn't Lin usually play well after stinking it in a b2b? Any stat guy out there that want to figure it out?
I don't know what his stats for a game after a b2b are but his stats for games after resting 2 days is in 10 games 14.2 PPG, 7.2 Assists, 2.7 TO's on 48.7% FG percentage in only 31 min. Sounds like someone needs to work on his conditioning.
I hope Rockets fan gives standing ovation to Luis Scola at the beginning of the game because he deserves it. I want him to return to Rockets next season.
