One game was tied 1-1 and went to penalties.

This game was 2-0, major difference.

The choke artists of Europe almost throwing away a 3-1 away advantage! Shocker! Bayern folds like a laptop at the slightest hint of a pressure situation; they are the Arsenal of the ECL.

Just like they did last year when they were down 0-2 in Madrid... oh wait...

Amazing week for me. I put a bet on that Barca would win 4-0 (after Rene van der Gijp said it, I thought... why not) and then today I put some money on Arsenal to win the match, as the odds were insane (9/1). Going to be celebrating this weekend.

You don't know anything about football, and you don't know anything about basketball.

Weren't you the moron who started that "Jeremy Lin is a joke" thread?

Edit: No, he was the moron who started a "Fire Morey" thread.

Your moniker should really be "TheDelusionalist137".

Also, ATW, do you not rate Robben?

What do you mean by "do you not rate"?

Also, congrats on your winnings :).

Well, do you like him these days? I reckon he's still up there amongst the best in the world, when on form...

I totally agree. He's a weapon. I hope he stays with Bayern for a few more years. He's also a really nice guy. Talked to him for a long time just a short time ago.

How do you get to spend time with Bayern?! Lol. Always wondered.

What do the fans think of Robben? I guess due to injury he'll never be a full season performer, which is a shame.

I'm friends with some of the players. I haven't missed many of the CL matches (away matches, especially) in the last 5 years.

He is not as popular as Ribery. The fans love Ribery in Munich. They booed Robben sometimes. I think they are wrong (about Robben).

That's cool. We should catch a match sometime, I like traveling around Europe to see games - - though I usually travel back to Holland. It's funny you once said how nice van Bommel is, considering how many people are annoyed by his antics on the field. He does seem very nice in interviews. I also like how passionate he was about the Dutch team.

So what are the players like? Anyone that is the complete opposite to what you would expect?

Yeah, van Bommel is great. I still think it was a big mistake to send him away (just like it was a mistake to send away Lucio at the time - I think these two mistakes did cost us the last two finals (with Lucio, we don't lose against Inter, with van Bommel, we beat Chelsea), but he didn't get along with van Gaal anymore. Van Bommel is very intelligent, a gentleman, and a great fighter on the field. He is friends with Basti Schweinsteiger, they mutually respect each other very much.

When Robben was still with other teams, I didn't like him. Just his body language and sometimes egoistical mannerisms on the field. But he is a very intelligent guy from a nice family, and well-liked by his teammates. I think he is also an amazing talent.

Anyone else - depends on what you expect :). Any players you are interested in?

Interesting - - I always wondered what happened with van Gaal. From decisive captain to being told he would be on the bench. Seemed like a very strange decision, but then again van Gaal is full of them in my opinion. I saw an interview with van Bommel recently where he confirmed the situation where van Gaal dropped his trousers in the middle of a team talk. Seems absolutely weird.

In terms of expectations... Well, Ribery doesn't seem like the nicest guy to me. Similar to Nasri, I just get a bad feeling about him. Seems very arrogant and not very personable. But of course these are just impressions. I can understand why someone would really hate Robben, just by his mannerisms.

Oh and if you ever got any info about how/why the Dutch team imploded at the Euros let me know, haha.

Yep, that situation happened. He was trying to tell people they shouldn't be afraid of the other team and should "show balls". "Look, I'm doing it right now!" LOL. Can't really tell more details here, but everyone was like WTF.

Ribery is actually a nice guy in person. He comes from a very simple background. His cousins are at many games. When you see them, you get an idea of the background. Robben is pretty much the opposite, seems quite educated. But Ribery doesn't strike me as a bad person. And he feels comfortable in Munich where everyone loves him. Both of them are popular on the team. Ribery also mentors some of the younger players and has a lot of fun with them.

Haha, van Gaal... I guess he lost a lot of respect during that talk. Apparently Luca Toni wasn't very impressed by what he saw. They clashed anyway. I thought Toni was past it at that stage anyway so it wasn't a massive deal to ship him out in my opinion.

So, everyone seems like a nice guy. Any idiots?!

Not really. Can't really think of anyone who would ever have behaved in an arrogant way towards me, at least.
