Embarrassing performance by Bayern so far. That's what happens when your two best players are not there. And Schweinsteiger's leadership is so underrated. I want Kroos gone...so badly. If we could somehow swap Kroos for Götze, I'd be happy to put 50 million on top. Edit: Yeah, and I don't want Barca before Wembley. Next round Dortmund vs. Barca would be nice. And Galatasaray - Bayern.
This. I absolutely hate Kroos, thought he'd turn his career around at the start of the season but now he's back to his typical mediocre performances. Heavily overrated player, we need a true star at the 10, Kroos will never be world class.
Definitely the worst game of the season so far. And this has nothing to do with the fact that Ribery and Schweinsteiger were out, the rest of the team is still ten times better than Arsenal. My gosh, 0-2 against freaking Arsenal at home. Unacceptable.
I like what Robben just said. You can't take things for granted, just because there's no match for you nationally you still have to go out and be at the top of your game internationally. But, Bayern did make it to the quarterfinals, and that's all that counts.
Arsenal have no one to blame but themselves. They outplayed Bayern for 135 minutes out of 180 and still lost the tie. Bayern had a poor attitude going into the match and it almost cost them. They looked like they didn't even try, took Arsenal for granted.
What? Are you high or something? Bayern didn't play well tonight, but they still were the better team. 21-5 shots, 8-3 shots on target. Arsenal had three chances tonight and scored two goals, and the first goal would not have been possible if Alaba had not slipped. Did you even see the game?
