Other people see it, but don't care nearly as much as you about it. In reality, there are dozens of missed calls throughout the game (how many times do they make an out-of-bounds call that gets reversed in the final 2 minutes because they can actually review it?) and Bill gets frustrated like any fan does.

Should the color commentary guy just sit there and report who has the ball and who he got it from? There are much worse b

There are much worse broadcast teams in the league if you listen to League Pass*

Who cares if they are homers? They are fans of the Rockets and cater to Rockets fans. Most local feeds are like that.

Anyways, I had a feeling the Lakers-Rockets game would somehow make national TV.

I feel like an unemployed person berating someone b****ing about his work: "Be thankful you have a got-damn job!"

In this case, replace "job" with "Comcast".

smdh at people defending an incredibly biased and dishonest bill worrell.

Only in houston. I can see why Kubiak, David Carr, Matt Schaub, Biggio and Bagwell choking in the playoffs year after year last so long here.

    Houston has very low standards.

Holy ****, you can manage and play professional football, baseball, basketball, be a pro sports announcer AND assess the honesty of a man via television? How much per year for your fantastic services? I'm sure the Houston hometown faithful would be happy to have the most talented person in the world on their teams (assuming you would want to play more than one sport of course).

He says this all as if Bill is very new to him and then throws out the Calvin connection to make it seem like he watched games back then. I smell a LOF.

If if the standings are very close and we have a chance at keeping the Lakers out of the playoffs that last game will be like the Super Bowl to ESPN

im born and raised houstonian and i have ripped Lin several times here.

    Nevertheless,

Bill Worrell is bad at his job. Calvin when he was here (yes ive been watching rockets games since the 90s) always kept Worrell in check. He would call out Worrell for his BS all the time. That's what i like about Calvin, he always told the truth with the ref calls whether it was against us or for us.

Ever since Calvin left, Worrell has gotten out of control with his calls and commentary. Its cringe worthy some of the stuff he says. An opponent would be making an offensive move and worrell would start making calls calling it a travel, offensive etc. its quite disrespectful and dishonest and it disrupts the viewing pleasure.

That's why i always watch national broadcast team over csn. At least those guys attempt to call it both ways.

With Worrell, its one way dishonest biased commentary. Shameless homers might like it, but for people who actually want a fair and balanced take its disgusting viewing.

Last year we also got 2 games in April, at home vs. Suns and at Dallas and both were terrible losses. Hope we can break that cycle.

    Thanks ESPN!

P.S. I am going to have sex with Comcast Sportsnet Houston's mother, make a video of the sordid affair, and then post it all on youtube. **** you Comcast!
