haha Brady must be pissed Pancakes has no sources so he spends all his time throwing cold water on any rumor he's supposed to know about.
I actually think a move to safety would help Nhamdi at this point in his career. Just don't ask him to move into the box to help the run.
we couldn't throw him at the nickel spot and have him only play man? most teams run 3 wide spreads now anyway.
I'd love Nnadmi, but he's expensive, no clue if he can play safety to be honest and safeties make less than CB's so he'd be overpaid.
I am sure he will get interest, but Nnadmi was not a good CB last season and is getting up there in age. If they can get him for GQ money I am okay with it. I would assume Nnadmi would move to safety.
If he moves to safety I wouldn't consider him old. He'd probably have a slightly longer window than the Schaub/Johnson duo we're depending on so much this era. I'm not worried about his performance last year, we've seen what a good coach can do with good players thanks to Wade Phillips. Nnamdi can still play, just not sure he can play safety. I imagine Phillips would know.
John McClain @McClain_on_NFL The Texans' first visit will be with S Ed Reed. He'll be at their facility on Thursday. They need a vet to replace Glover Quin.
Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora Ravens safety Ed Reed is visiting the Texans tomorrow, flying in tonite. Possible meetings with 49ers and Colts to follow John McClain @McClain_on_NFL The Texans will sign a veteran safety to replace Quin, who signed with Detroit for $5.25 million a year over 5 years. Because Quin signed with the Lions, the Texans have enough cap space to sign a veteran like Ed Reed.
