No reason for this to get D&D'ish. I was just curious. Your concerns aside (even if no one thinks he is infallible or in direct connection with God), it is still a huge deal around the world.
Today i shed a tear for all who were killed throughout history because of this and every other god. A tear for all who remain brainwashed and a tear for the future of mankind because of children being forced into believing what their parents make them believe. Good day to all of you.
I agree it is a huge deal around the world but I believe the mystic is less than before. John Paul's death and Benidict's selection was much more hyped.
