This is a very important part of the schedule I think. All of these home games in a row and a day or two rest between should give them plenty of practice time to work on those little things that have caused losses lately. I hope to see them getting more consistent in rebounding and help defense. Hopefully the 3s start falling again at a high rate also... We have to start getting SOMETHING each game from the PFs. These 10 total pts and 7 total rebs between them wont cut it. I hope practice time will help that. We will see starting tonight. We gotta keep LA off our heels and catch G St again.

I think last game both James and Jeremy pass to MM at the beginning of the game, it is just too confusing. There are time both D-Mo and Pasons were with Marcus, and missed the other one. Must lost track on who is on who.....
Treat the Suns like the team from Nantucket And the Rockets win bucket by bucket. We will blow the Suns out As the fans scream and shout And the rhyme on line five, I will duck it. But I had a doozy with a player named Harden.
How is this a trap game? We're playing a team that just beat us and we have had 4 days to stew about it. It's the opposite of a trap game.
Why didnt try to get chris anderson (bird man) It is kind of obvious we need some help for ashik in the paint. Why didnt a guy like chris anderson aka bird man, get some attention? Talk about your perfect fit for this team.............
Clutch or anyone going to the game, any way you could get some video of the Scola tribute and/or his reaction?
Apologies if this has been discussed before, but what explains the road-home differential in the NBA? The obvious factors include home crowd, staying at home, familiarity with court/locker room/rims, etc. But what do players say (aside from the usual platitudes) and what do the stats say? Is there some systematic bias with calls? Is it simply adrenaline from the cheers? The discrepancy is so large even for the better teams that sometimes it's a bit mysterious to me.
Gotta love Scola, if only his contract wasn't so huge, we could've used him with all these inconsistent bigs. http://www.nba.com/rockets/video/2013/03/13/ZOOM0004MOV-2412231
Check this: a college paper, no less! http://www.amstat.org/chapters/boston/nessis07/presentation_material/Dylan_Small.pdf Main claim: away teams play more back-to-backs, which does significantly influence rest. Other measures of rest are insignificant: only back-to-backs are significant. "Sports Illustrated, in a 17 January 2011 report, reported that home crowds, rigor of travel for visiting teams, scheduling, and unique home field characteristics, were not factors in giving home teams an advantage. The journal concluded that it was favorable treatment by game officials and referees that conferred advantages on home teams. Sports Illustrated stated that sports officials are unwittingly and psychologically influenced by home crowds and the influence is significant enough to effect the outcomes of sporting events in favor of the home team." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_advantage "An evolutionary psychology explanation for the home advantage effect refers to observed behavioral and physiological responses in animals when they are defending their home territory against intruders. This causes a rise in aggression and testosterone levels in the defenders. A similar effects has been observed in football with testosterone levels being significantly higher in home games than in away games. Goalkeepers, the last line of defense, have particularly strong testosterone changes when playing against a bitter rival as compared to a training season. How testosterone may influence results is unclear but may include but cognitive effects such as motivation and physiological effects such as reaction time." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_advantage "Today at the 2011 Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, Scorecasting author Tobias Moskowitz gave a great talk on home field advantage across various sports, and how he believes it can largely be explained by referee bias." http://www.teamrankings.com/blog/nba/nba-home-court-advantage-really-just-the-refs
We amnestied Scola too early, it's that simple. Other than future D-Mo he is still way better than any other PF that has played in our team.
Don't know if this has been said yet. But, can somebody who's going to the game record Luis Scola's tribute and post it youtube or clutchfans? I'm sure everyone will appreciate it.
Since Rockets didn't get Howard, they didn't need to use the amnesty. Hindsight is 20/20 so understandable why DM did it.
