    I have a map on the wall in my office. It's of East Houston stretching from the East Loop to East of Mont Belvieu. It plots out all of the Petrochemical plants and refineries along and around the Ship Channel. Pipelines, railroads, etc...

    Sometimes I just stand in front of it staring. Not looking for anything in paticular. But just following the roads and railways, looking at the plants that or in close vicinty of each other and why that is... ie: Plant A produces a byproduct that Plant B needs for it's production, etc.

    Interesting stuff. To me anyway.

    Super interesting!

    Points that surprised me:
    1) USA's usage is not nearly as dense as that in India/China or even the stronger Europe countries
    2) Europe & China use more in the evenings than at any other time of day. Most other countries use it the most during regular work hours. India starts really early in the day (even though work hours start around 10am generally speaking)
    3) The US's activity drops at night but not as much as the majority of countries - also expected since there are probably more internet gadgets working through the night here than other places

    Cool way to think about circadian rhythms wrt countries
