LOL come on: you can "dispassionately" leave the drafting of Kevin Garnett and going to the Western Conference Finals off Kevin McHale's Resume! ;)

No wonder Royce White tells people to

    #BeWell

There's just no use pointing out the multiple examples of reaching and stretching in this.

This is cherry picking at its finest.

Can I say, if McHale is black, he is long gone from the NBA?

He is not that talented and he is kind of arrogant to me, but I could be wrong.

To me, Rick Adelman and Rudy Tomjanovich were way better.

Just a feeling, some mediocre whites can have a long and rucrative career but blacks have to be really talented to hold their management jobs.

I understand that communication and mutual trust is important but fact is fact. I just can't say if a black GM or coach with McHale's track record, he still have a job.

Coach Dungy comes to mind when I think this.

Why don't you look up every one of McHale's drafts, and see who was taken and who was still available. Do you remember 1st round 1st pick Josh Smith and his under the table 'written' agreement that cost the Timberwolves 3 future it's round picks? Brandon Roy for Randy Foye?

Theonly guy McHale got right, he gifted the Celtics. It's like Morey turning around and trading Harden for O. J. Mayo and Dallas then getting Dwight and contending for a championship every year for the next 5.

Or trading a healthy Yao Ming for someone with the upside of Rik Smits.

How long before we get a "dispassionate Assessment of Jeremy Lin"?

Mchale also pushed to draft Royce now Morey has to deal with all the baggage he brought with him. He's like the opposite of Morey who's constantly analyzing, instead Mchale just seems to do things impulsively and based on his emotions.

You know what's the most ironic thing about blaming McHale the GM? It's that the Wolves were worse before he got there, and worse after he left. Also, the current Wolves team's two best players were drafted by McHale(Pekovic and Love), despite his successor having #2, #4, #5, #6 lottery picks in the past 3 years.

Which begs the question of just how much of McHale's lack of success in Minnesota can be blamed on ownership, location, budget, and other situations out of his hand.

3 drafts picks? And yet they went to the Western Conference Finals 4 years later. The Rockets haven't done that since 1997.

Brandon Roy is semi-retired. What did he ever accomplish?

Can't be worse than Kahn, so maybe it is the climate that makes people be a bad GM up there.
