Don't assume we drink it because we "need energy." Sometimes a warm cup of anything in a cold morning or for the cold office soothes you, too. Also, it could be chocolate and tea, but because of the convenience and the speed at which you can serve yourself a cup, coffee either is already made, is easy to make, or there's an abundance to make. I don't buy the expensive coffee at Starsucks. I'm 37 years old, man.
http://www.charlespoliquin.com/Arti...ts_of_Coffee_for_Health_Performance_Body.aspx Enjoying coffee does not equate to being "addicted"
I'm glad that I'm not silly or arrogant enough to read a few posts on a message board and assume I know enough about the people who made them to judge myself better than they are, while calling them addicted to coffee, and presuming they don't have enough energy. I would feel awful if I was like that. Luckily I'm old enough to know better.
I admit I'm addicted to coffee. I get headaches if I don't drink it. However I don't drink because I'm addicted. I just love the taste of coffee. Some people love wine, some love beer, I just love coffee. I've liked it since I was a toddler. My 4 year son loves the taste of coffee. Coffee ice cream, coffee chocolate, anything coffee tasting. I guess it's in the genes.
Stop drinking your daily 3 cups of coffee every morning for a few days and come on this board and tell us what kind of symptoms you are suffering from.
Do they sell "pot growers" at Target? Does your company provide it in the breakroom? Will your employer let you smoke it and still keep your job? Are there many companies making lots of "flavors" or "roasts" of pot? Go for it, man. Let us know how it goes at work! I have. Nothing happened. I'm still alive. I haven't murdered anyone nor have I gone crazy. Now what, hippie?
Forgot to mention...ensure that the butter is UNSALTED. That being said, some claim to have cut the bitterness with a dash of salt on top of the coffee grind before brewing.
Now days im super lazy even to make a cup of coffee...so i stick to instant coffee powder(Nescafe-Taster's Choice)...boil a cup of water...mix...add creamer with sugar and done..
I don't want to get up. I don't want to go to work. I hate mornings. Great, I have twenty minutes- no time for cafae.
Again you are arrogant and assume too much. I don't drink coffee everyday. I drink 3 cups a week on average. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. Why don't you stop making assumptions about what coffee drinkers must be doing, or suffering from, then come back on this board and tell us how your less judgmental life is going for you? But excellent coffee is like a fine food. It compliments a meal or a dessert, and can add a refinement to a meal. It can be just thing on a cold morning. I don't care if anyone doesn't like or appreciate a good cup of coffee or espresso. I won't judge them to be missing out on life, or not operating at their optimum level. It's fine for different people to have different tastes and preferences, and it doesn't make someone better than the other.
It's hard to recommend coffee because everyone has different preferences. It depends on if you like bold, medium, or light flavor. I would recommend going to Starbucks and asking what they have on brew and just getting a tall cup to try out. That's an easy way to try different coffees and you will start to figure out what you like. As far as creamers go, it's up to your personal preference again. Just experiment. The more creamer and sweetner that you put in, the more you will lose the natural coffee flavor.
