lol, you want to take the ball out of the hand of one of the most lethal P&R handlers as well as ISO'er in Harden and pair him up with CP3? You act like there are 2 balls on the court.

that doesn't mean he cant be traded, look up the obligations of NBA trades. people thought lebron wouldnt leave Cleveland because he had contracts signed that involved him and the cavs for the upcoming season.

not sure if trolling or what. Pau has been on the decline. Jamison as said before is old. Omer is great on defense but doesn't have a lot to offer on offense. It'll pretty much be just Kobe, as to how lebron was with Cleveland. A star surrounded by a bunch of average. I dont think he woud be happy with that. which is why i dont think LA would be interested in a trade. We don't have much to offer outside of harden and parsons which we wont let go.

LA will want at least one other STAR they can count on to score when kobe is having an off night.

You act like they are maximizing their skill set on the floor while sharing the ball.

If Morey has the balls to trade Lowry for a draft pick and Patterson and the rest of our bench for Robinson what makes you so sure he won't go all in for Howard, CP3, Smith or Iggy. All Morey cares about is winning a championship or he would have left the club the way it was this deadline.

When you play with other superstars your skills will not be maximized, doesn't mean the team is worse off.

I will not buy into the idea that CP3 is going to sign a long-term deal with Donald Sterling until it actually happens.

Ideally CP3 could force a trade to Houston for Lin, Robinson, Delfino, and Jones, then we could use our remaining cap space to sign Josh Smith.

    PG: Paul/Beverley
    SG: Harden/Anderson
    SF: Parsons/draft pick
    PF: Smith/Motiejunas
    C: Asik/Smith

Manu/Parker, Wade/Lebron, Durant/Westbrook/Harden, Jordan/Pippen, and that's just off the top of my head.

The reason why Lin/Harden doesn't work well is not because they're both ball-dominating guards, but rather Lin is an inefficient ball-dominating guard. CP3 though, is very efficient.

That plays to neither of their strengths. The Rockets need a stretch PF who can also rebound/block shots.

All the other positions are strong enough to contend. CP3 is luxury. If the swap is Lin for CP3 anyone would make that deal. But it is not as simple as that.

You are being supercilious just because people are poking holes in your dreamcasting. Why would CP3 leave a top 3 team to take a chance with a more inexperienced/less talented Houston team?

I wouldn't do Asik for Howard straight up.

It seems to me Howard has well passed his prime and he seems have an attitude problem. Asik is much less risky and don't assume at 26, he will never improve his offensive skills.

Oh please stop being a hypocrite. You were the one who came in firing in the first place and putting words in my mouth.

I did not say anything about CP3 leaving the Clippers. If you read through this thread you would notice I did not mention anything about CP3 at all until somebody insinuated that Harden and CP3 would fail to co-exist.

Of course I think getting a post player is more important, I never said it wasn't. I simply said if CP3 came over he and Harden would not be unable to co-exist.

Get off your high horse and stop inferring things I never said.

CP3 not coming to rockets !

his staying in L.A... for the lifestyle and the team is already built to win now.

Dwight is the only other worth the max.

    THANK YOU!

Move on guys. There really isn't a star out there right now for us. Lets just wait a couple of years. No need to rush.

 High horse? That would be all you man. You tear into anyone and everyone who does not see things the way you do. No one said Harden and CP3 could not coexist, only that pairing them was not the best way to maximize their games. You chose to support the opposite and you don't like it when people call you out on it.

I don't know what a flamingdts is supposed be but I imagine it is akin to flaming douchebag that sucks at posting.

I don't get LOFs fascination about Lin joining the Lakers. Whenever someone proposes a Lin trade, they go like "yeah let's trade Lin to LA". I mean, if you're complaining about Harden's "hero" ball, what makes you think Lin's gonna work out with the black mamba?

D'Antoni and the spotlight of LA. They want to recreate Linsanity.

Ouch. Looks like someone needs to look in the mirror.

Yes indeed I'm sure I was the person who would "tear into anyone and everyone who does not see things the way you do".
