I watch every game twice. Most of the time, Harden loses the ball out of bounds or is blocked as he is driving to the hoop. Almost every single time its a blown foul call. There are some errant passes, but usually its to a spot where a guy is supposed to be standing but the off the ball guy isn't there. Thats the problem with a young team, they don't know where to be.
I don't doubt that you watch every Rockets game twice but unless you're some sort of savant, here's why your argument doesn't hold water: Wages of Wings: You watch the games, so what? (courtesy of my favorite 2012er torocan's signature).
Barely. You know what a real set play is? Watch those clips from RA era, those were true set plays --- players practiced, plays were called during the game and executed over and over again with perfection.
whole time sucked. with Turn Overs. Jeremy as a team leader PG has to bear the responsibility of this loss. But I am certain that the Rockets will have their Recourse and Revenge. They are better than this.
Denver PG Ty Lawson against the same Suns team on Monday 8/13, 19 pts, 6 assist, 1 TO Ty Lawson is much better than Lin against the Suns
It's funny you say this. When an article that talks about the Adelman offense says the following. http://www.csnbayarea.com/kings/adelmans-corner-set-offense-found-all-over-nba EVERY offense in the NBA today operate on some level similar to the Adelman offense. There's always some structure and lots of freedom. The fact that the Rockets give their players more freedom than most teams is due to the high BBIQ of their primary ball-handlers. If the Rockets had a bunch of Moochie Norris, Steve Francis types, you'd likely see more micromanagement by the coaches.
Not true. Some coaches call almost every play in the half court game. Adelman and the Rockets had a seriously big playbook. What is true is every offense in the NBA incorporates some form of Adelman's corner offense. It is credited to Adelman, and he'll be in the Hall on this alone (and of course his track record). But no ... most teams know what they're doing in the offense. It may not necessarily be better. But most teams usually have a big playbook. That's why players like Garcia, even TRob, when they joined the Rockets, said that our offense is pretty easy to pick-up.
Are you serious right now? Did you just try to argue that the high post offense is set plays? Its called read and react for a reason.
You know that 24 second clock violations are counted team turnovers and not assigned to individuals, unless you're implying that Jeremy would rather throw the ball out of bounds or to the opponent opposed to taking a shot. You can argue that he does that to keep his shooting percentage high, but not his turnovers down.
You are either making things up or have so much prejudice against Lin that you were blind to what had actually happened. There are 24 seconds for every possession. Show me some video clips that show Lin had the ball in his hands for more than 20 seconds and did what you described above.
I don't get how you can keep making these kinds of claims when the data to refute them is so readily accessible. Even assuming that all of Harden's "lost ball" turnovers are "fouls that don't get called ... as he is driving to the hoop", that still means that 63% of his turnovers are bad passes, offensive fouls, traveling, stepping out of bounds, discontinued dribbles, or backcourt violations.
75% of those calls should have been fouls. Those charge turnovers should have been blocking calls. He was hacked on all those bad passes. The defender pushed him so had to travel or step out of bounds. The other turnovers are legit and are in the 25% bucket.
I suggest that you read your original post and Akim523's reply again. Do you always have to object for objection's sake? Akim523 came in to offer one more possible cause for your claim that "Thats the problem with a young team, they don't know where to be." and got himself into an unnecessary debate with you about set plays. Even Parsons has said to media there haven't been many set plays for Rockets' offense. Also, is read and react a set play? If not, then what's wrong for Akim523 to call for more set plays? Funny!
Are you referring to just the eight turnovers Harden had in our last game against the Suns? Or to all the TOs he had this season?
