Thats what I thought so too..then I picture someone jumping towards me taking a shot...if you jump left to your opponent you'll tend to lean more left therefore your shoulder should be more to the left and elbow should be even further from the opponent...unless you stick it out. thats why I think it may be intentional and like to see the vid.
I don't think dragic is that kind of player...they seemed to have a good rapport with each other during the pre-season games against the spurs. I watched an old game from last season when the rockets played the knicks (pre-linsanity) and when lin got some playing time (it was a blow out) and went near the houston bench, dragic and some of the guys were whistling at him and trying to crack him up a little

When you’re trying to create contact, it doesn’t matter if you’re left or right hand, you lean to the defender. From what I remember, Dragic did intentionally have his elbow sticking out more than his normal shooting form. But to say he intentionally trying to hurt Lin is a stretch. How the hell did he know Lin’s face will be there?
