Wow. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>The Seahawks and Vikings have agreed to a trade that send Harvin to Seattle for draft picks, pending Harvin passing a physical</p>— Jay Glazer (@JayGlazer) <a href="https://twitter.com/JayGlazer/status/311160128743280640">March 11, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/e...rade-percy-harvin-to-seahawks-for-draft-picks
Seahawks were needing a top shelf WR and afraid too many teams ahead in the draft would select. Smart move for Seahawks.
great trade for seattle if harvin can stay healthy and away from the hydro. Harvin adds 8% to any qb's completion percentage with his ability to turn an 1 yrd catch to an 7 yard gain.
did I hear correctly that a 2013 first was included? seems rather steep considering you are going to have to sign the guy to a big time contract before seasons end.

Seattle is built to win and finding a playmaking WR that can contribute right away is very difficult.
Great move for their young QB. They need receivers and they just got one awesome one if he can stay on the field. This team's gonna be scary.
understood...and Harvin was having a monster year before his injury. but the guy is injured every year, and I would think that would drive down the price. makes me wonder if Seattle was bidding against itself
Seattle is my second favorite team! IM PUMPED! MAKING MOVES! WR IS JUST WHAT WE NEEDED! He will Fit very well with our core!
Other teams get better and take risks while the Texans stand pat because Uncle Bob doesn't want to "ruin team chemistry"
Yeah, was just about to post that the 49ers will soon be next. Two examples of teams building quickly and early through the draft. One amazing draft or two good ones and you're set, especially with the new rookie pay scale.
Other teams are just starting to peak and have money to spend. The Texans have had this core for years man, we're peaking late. The spark took forever to light, finally lit, burned bright and has started to fizzle. Now we're bent over backwards trying to keep that flame going. The other guys are pouring gasoline on Japanese-made quick-start black cats.
I just don't see the big deal with NFL early round picks. I'd give up an early round pick for something proven than an unproven.
