Anger is normal, but not if it becomes a story to hang onto. Subtle difference. I get angry at horrible customer service, but only if it's worth my time to be angry, like a ruined experience over an imperfect meal. Anything less than 10 dollars is a lot less than .00001% of my income, so why should I stew over that on the principle that society needs to be fixed? That advice about blacklisting until turnover kicks in is solid. And everyone lies these days. We might not, but these employees serve people a lot more than most of us already have. Should they take a backseat to lying customers at their own expense? Most do if they want to keep their crappy jobs.
FIFY Also why did she cry? Because some customer got mad at her on the phone and said 'he didn't appreciate being lied to' ? If you cry over something like that then you have nobody to blame but yourself. Lady needs tougher skin. Especially since she's in a managerial position (their job is to deal with angry customers). Finally, the customer isn't complaining because of the 40 cents he is complaining because he was lied to. Lied to over 40 cents (really he was lied to because the manager didn't want to go fix the order. I doubt the lady cares about McDonald's 40 cents) .
I think you handled it right. McDonalds is the absolute worst. The one on Hwy 6 at Vicksburg tops them all in worst service.
This is why people always get home with the wrong damn order. Because people like you are too damn passive to ensure that they do their jobs and you get what you actually pay for. McDonalds has a reputation for f'ing up the simplest of orders, probably because no one ever calls them out on it cause they're too lazy to make a phone call.
I'm sorry that I don't live up to your expectations, Rambo. Sorry that I don't spend my weekend nights doing more productive things. Instead, I bust my ass working full time and going to school full time. I work twelve hour shifts on the weekends in order to get my hours in, which eliminates me from the awesomeness that you must exude on the weekends. I'm sure your life is totally awesome. As one of the biggest trolls on a basketball website, you are the epitome of excellence. I only wish I could whittle my fat ass down to a sort of physique that resembles yours. I will never eat another Mcflurry again because of your insults! I was actually making a joke about my weight. While I may be slightly overweight (6'3" 235lbs) , Internet bullying from a grown man is not going to to change anything. I don't know which is more wrong... The idiocy of this thread having as many responses as it does, the trolls that have reared the pathetic (or awesome?) heads, or the original subject that started it all. I've never used my ignore list, but there's always a first time for everything. Good riddance.
According to my calculations, you are 6 lbs. from being Obese Class I. Not sure how much fudge you wanted, but that lady may very well have saved you from going from slightly overweight to obese.
You should just given her a Dirty Sanchez right there. In a Dice Clay voice......There's the fudge lady......right under your nose.....now get my McFlurry out here.
you can measure if he has obesity or not with BMI which is easily calculable with the weight and height thats given
You already complained to her in person, what more do you want? You want complain to the higher ups? Really? Over fudge you want her fired? Lol. Is it possible that she genuinely thought she put fudge in it? It's a very tedious job, I'm sure it could have slipped her mind. But you complained, she apologized and felt bad. What else are you looking for? Could be much worse, bro. I don't doubt that there's crappy service at fast food places. Crappy service for crappy food.
