There's always a scrub showing up against us, this time it seems it was two: Haddadi with 11 rebounds and 3 blocks and of course again Dudley with 22 points. How in the world did McHale not use Brooks when only Delfino was having a good shooting night? There's no excuse to lose to the Suns, we probably underestimated them and Dragic showed how a PG should play in the 4th. Wish we still had him sometimes, he always came through in the clutch.
hold your horses D-Mo played much improved defense , this good sight i kinda believe he ll figure this all out and become force in this league , D-Mo are leader by nature people like these in most cases reach that they want period. And no his rebounding really was not the reason we lost .
If that's the case, the Rockets are not playoff ready. Someone get this douche out the exit door. Lin's been terrible the past month or two, how so? Can you give me a reasonable explanation instead of obsessive compulsive behavior that's been presented in this game thread??
Ha OK. My sarcasm meter was completely broken. Passive aggressiveness is a new line of defense for Lin fans. Who says they can't evolve?
Problem with a lot of people in these forums is that they fail to really understand what the business of basketball is really all about. It's understandable since most LOF are naive Asian Americans still picking their zits while masturbating over Bieber or the dude from Gangnam style. Lin was signed to sell tickets and generate ad revenue. Les was hoping Lin could get more "ins" with his Chinese contacts in the many investments he has out there initiated during the Yao period. Unlike Yao, Lin has no game and needs to be put on the bench or shipped off for good. Lin doesn't sell tickets, evidenced by the poor attendance and his buzz is in decline. No longer is the underdog story of an undrafted Asian American Harvard grad of interest to the national media. I don't blame Lin for squeezing the bucks out of Les, Lin is a smart guy and I'm sure he knew that he was overrated and a fraud himself. Kudos to Lin. Even Morey knows Lin was a mistake as his recent statements have attested to. What we all need to do is to recognize the truth of situation and ship him out to Charlotte or Shanghai where he can generate a bit of press for teams that are starving for some media attention and care less about wins/losses.
Agreed. Some people just like to label the trolls "LOFs/LOHs" regardless. As you have correctly pointed out, the majority of LOFs are somewhere else, with few LOFs here on this board.
I show up when this forum requires a good dose of old fashioned objectivity and common sense. Clutch is being ruined by these zit picking Asian American LOFs who don't see the fraud of Lin.
being the dark knight eh? lol objectively, i would wait to call lin a fraud after this season is over or when he does poorly in the next season. why? this time lin will not have the excuse of coming off injury, or playing a new game since teh beard's arrival (basically the entire team for that matter). back in ny he was the primary ball handler all along and he did well. here, he has to share the ball with harden, parsons, delfino etc so that wasnt his strength. i still see him having an upside that is all star level. but if he doesnt do well then he could always be taken off during his last year of his contract. for now, lets wait til the season is over. homestand incoming and best wishes to all the rockets players!
Jeremy has some serious problems with the 2nd game of a back to back...In 18 such games, he's shooting 36.9%, 27.1% from the 3, 3.4 TOs, and 2.8 PFs....he's shooting around 47% when he has at least a days rest...I don't know if it's conditioning or what, but hopefully that's something he can improve on.
LOL Most people don't see that I actually think Lin's a great guy, solid character and amazing businessman. He's God abiding, community oriented and savvy businessman that suckered Les into a miserable contract. My only beef with Lin really has to do with McHale, Morey and Les. That is McHale doesn't want him and Morey was forced to sign him by Les who has an agenda to appease his Chinese relationships. Maxxis and other advertisers are the only reason Lin is still in the starting lineup.
The morning after a tough loss and Clutchfans want answers. The Rockets lose the second game of a back to back on the road. This happens a lot to many NBA teams, even good teams. PPat, Morris, and TD played better than the players that have taken their place in the rotation. There has been a drop off with D-mo, TRob, and Beverley in the lineup. This should not be a surprise. When you replace three Vets with three rookies there will be problems. Clutchfans can complain about the players and the coaches all they want, but our current problems on the court are a result of a trade that Daryl Morey made. I'm not saying the trade shouldn't have been made, but Morey didn't do this years team or coaches any favors by shipping out three rotation players this deep into the season. I don't think it does any good for Clutchfans to go crazy blaming McHale, or Lin, or TRob, or D-Mo at this point. Morey is probably the one to blame if you want to blame someone. However, it's important to remember that Morey isn't focused on this season, he's focused on next season and the season after. Morey will probably make some big moves in the off-season, and at that point we may understand why Morey made the trades that severely crippled out current team. It's hard to do right now, because last nights loss stings pretty bad, but we must trust Morey and look to the future.
