No D? Steph Curry didnt score a single point in the last 6 minutes. Goran hit a few shots today, but it happens. By your standards 90% of nba players are underachieving for his contract. Even your LOH club president Stephen A SMith has come out and said Lin's contract is reasonable. If 13/6 is not worth 5 mill, then what is Harden's #'s worth? not a max contract by your math.
Yah right!take out Lin and his defense and see where our team will be..smh....you gave allowances on the others but not Lin who was playing his butts off just for us to stay in the game...you guys are just unbelievable.. Yes, he did not play at par for his standard tonight but pinning the lose on him....can't say anymore.... We lost because we suck big time on Defense..Lin can't do it by himself when he has 4'th PF by the end of 3rd quarter..Yes, we can score but who tried stopping the Suns from scoring?????..our main problem is not our Offense but our DEFENSE....
If the Lakers continue to play the rest of the season like they did the past two games then they won't be getting the 6th seed. Kobe bailed that team out against two crappy teams, if he has to do that every night it will catch up to them.
Lin has had average-below average stats the past 6 games. Parsons has had amazing stats the past 6 games. Parsons was due a bad game...Lin not so much. He played like crap and he had no excuses. Thats all there is nothing more nothing less. Unless you don't believe Lin sucked today and want to blame it on McHale. Then I can understand I guess.[/QUOTE] LOL you fool, if you believe Lin is a role player then he did exactly all he was capable of. No need to blame Lin, you should blame McHale. That's like your coach putting you on the varsity team when you suck at basketball. YOu go out there and do poorly....is your school supposed to blame you or the coach??
Why do the Rockets have a habit of coming out flat and playing down to their opponents? I'm tired of seeing this team adjusting to the opposition. I know these guys are young, but if the playoffs are what they're aiming towards then I think they should really start acting like a playoff team. I guess this is the problem when I'm a fan of a developing team, because the roster will always be changing. But this season feels more promising than the last few seasons. I'd be very satisfied with a first round exit with HOU winning 2-3 games. Let's just hope that this team comes back with a chip on their shoulders next game!
I don't agree with this logic. It's basically arguing that unless Parson's keeps playing above his average, he won't get a pass. Parson's has been playing great in terms of scoring, but it is likely unsustainable. Before this latest stretch, Parson's was in a slump. Alot of players do that. Lin has actually been doing quite consistently. Unfortunately, to many it is underwhelming because they wish he were Westbrook or CP3 right out of the gate. It's this team's first year together. I don't expect Lin to become a Westbrook or CP3, but even those guys took years to get to where they are now.
Lol, Ahhh if the Rockets had won and the season ended today. It would've been Grizz vs Rockets First round match up. The best thing the Rockets could hope for
I could not agree more. Kobe has been the definition of hero ball the past 2 games for the Lakers. It will certainly catch up to them. I wouldn't be surprised if the lose tomorrow against Chicago.
DMo killed us. No rebounding at all. Turnovers didn't help but the lack of rebounding from DMo will be a consistent issue.
Warriors with the clutch CHOKE, hehe. Damn, at least our excuse is we're on the road but they're at home. Their fans were so optimistic about their schedule because they got a lot of home games lol 6th place, here come the Rockets
dont forget mavs..they are hanging around.... if they manage to manage a decent w streak they are in....
The Rockets have some nice role players to surround Harden with, Parsons being the best of them, but Morey is correct about the Rockets needing a second star. Badly.
I've only read the suns game thread but those guys actually have some good analysis...and holy crap I can't believe its true...but they actually criticize Jeremy more than the posters on here do.
That was a terrible game, but I disagree with many of you that we lack effort tonight. It's so obvious the team has nothing left in the tank. They really tried hard, but the insanely fast style we play with is simply unsustainable on back to backs. I think on future back to backs, we should consider the following: 1. Play more bench: I refuse to believe Aaron Brooks or James Anderson would do any worse than the starters tonight. Tim Olbercht might have gotten some rebounds. It's would be nice to give 3rd string fresh legs a chance when the team was struggling such as tonight. 2. Post up more: instead of trying to fly up and down the court with dead legs, I believe we should play more inside game. We have a really good post up player, his name is DMo. Use him more please.
