Are you glad that we no longer have an undersized weak rebounding PF?

I sure am. Love having a 7" starting PF and what it does to team defense and rebounding. Glad that those tweener spread 4s are gone forever.

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish with this thread. At this point you are just beating a dead horse.

I am one of those who really appreciated what Patterson brought to the team, but lets look beyond this year and see how we use the added cap space and new trade asset in Trob before we make short sighted Kwame-esque conclusions.

I like D-Mo so far, but I am in the minority that thinks we lost a great piece in PatPat.

Yes, his rebounding wasn't the best, but that jumper was consistent. You could almost bet on his baseline shot to go in.

I think PatPat will continue to develop into a David West type of forward. I hope not for our sake, but yeah, I wasn't a fan of the trade overall.

I've mainly been impressed with Francisco. I always like his game in SacTown. He is streaky and underrated on defense.

If Morey doesn't trade him, it would be nice to get him back for cheap. He and Delfino are great for the team.

DMo is brutal on the boards. TRob seems to have the ability but a pretty low motor.
I don't think, so far, we have our answer at the 4. DMo seems more like a backup you bring in to score some buckets.
Players who are poor rebounders don't really improve on it.

I wouldn't call D-Mo brutal on the boards. I think the skill is there, however he doesn't play a style in which he could get those boards. How do you expect him to get rebounds if he camps on the 3pt line all the time.

I would so much prefer the coach using him less as a spacing tool and instead giving him more touches in the post as well as telling him to bang more in the paint.

Does no one get the 7" (that'd be 7 inches) reference from one of the greatest movies of all time: Spinal Tap? Also one of the greatest scenes from any movie when they drop in Stone Henge to the voice over.

And I agree with Carl 100% - everyone here was arguing how we don't rebound enough out of our 4 spot before the trade. Well, now we are at best even and, in my opinion, even worse at rebounding out of our 4 spot. We have to go small and run Los at the 4 because of the offensive/defensive weaknesses of our rookies. This hurts our rebounding terribly (as demonstrated last night against GS).

I miss me some experience at the 4.

Bottom line is TRob is a much more valuable trade chip for the crucial 2013 free agent period.

If he can just put on some more mass and bang for some more rebounds ill be happy. But I like the potential....lets be real....tJones is the answer! :D
