I used to frequent many underground rooms when I lived in Houston. Alas, I no longer live there but now live in Montana where its all legal.

I have a good buddy who makes a killing dealing in underground rooms. Anywhere between $400-$2200 a night depending on the action.

Sorry I havent replied in a while, been without internet at home for some time (damn comcast).

Firstly, to those talking about legality. Whether you're joking or not, my game is 110% legal. It's not illegal to play poker in Texas. It's only illegal if the house turns a profit. I don't.

Secondly, for those of you interested, my game is $1/$2 no limit. We play Fridays and Sundays. We also do $50 tournaments on Sunday afternoons. Game play is mostly recreational guys, the type who wanna come out and play cards once every week or two. Really fun group. Again, if you're interested, email me at quinnolivarez@gmail.com

Three cards laying in the middle of the table.

But seriously, the hand would be $10-$15 I would imagine.

If you are asking what would the average pot look like, I would say $30-$40 with it very easily reaching over $100 at times. Really depends on the players and how loose they are with their money.

Yea at the flop and then you have the turn and river, so easily $40-$75 per person to play 1 hand which would be an average hand to play, imagine what a huge pot would look like.

Dont get me wrong I've played 1/2 and bouth in for $500 before which is not friendly poker but gambling.

That all depends on the player. For some (like the Lawyers I used to play against) 1/2 is chump change. Even when pots grow over $200. Its nerve wracking as hell to play against someone with deep pockets....but if you're a better player its also where you make serious money.

Yup exactly just depends on whose playing and how much they are buying in for. My point was 1/2 blinds are kinda high for friendly poker lol

I dont believe he doesnt take a rake either playing at 1/2.

I use to play out in Katy at a poker house. .50/1 blinds with a rake of $5 dollars max every hand so every hand over $50 bucks was only a 5 dollar rake and they would provided free alcohol and snacks, suck they arent playing no more. I havent found anything close to that now. Every where I go now the rake is just to high an some dont even have a max which is bull.
