You don't like Lin so you feel McHale is justified to bench him in crunch time. ]Unfortunately for you the FACTS don't agree with your FEELINGS.

The "FACTS" are we are one game out of the 6th seed. You're just a dude speculating on the internet. Oh, and Lin has nothing to do with this conversation on my end. I was under the impression that we were discussing McHale. Of course, it has to always be about Lin in your eyes.

Hey buddy, give it a rest. We won the game, be happy for once. Please, if you are a Rockets fan, just stop this.

Well we've got a starter right now who is playing injured and playing over 40 minutes a game anyhow. He's shot 8-34 the last 2 games probably due to injury. If Parsons keeps playing 40+ minutes he'll probably get injured also.

Besides I'm not talking about "lots of minutes". You guys keep exaggerating and putting words in my mouth. I'm talking about 30+ minutes and closing out the game.

I am a Rockets fan and I am happy they won. I just don't trust McHale - too often he reverts back to benching Lin and Asik. If you were a Rockets fan you'd realize that too. It's not about Lin or Asik it's about wins and losses. We're not going to win consistently by benching our starters. It's as simple as that.

I concur with those who are concerned with all the minutes Harden has played this season. I think his legs are wearing down a bit. No shame in that on his part, but he's playing too much.

Lin and Asik already play 30+ MPG. So either you do want them to play "lots of minutes" or you have nothing to complain about.

Parsons and Harden came into this season as healthy, experienced starters. Lin had only a dozen games under his belt with starter minutes, Asik the same or less. Lin started the season injured. And this is the highest paced team in the league, so the stress is even higher.

This season we have been the most injury-free team in the league, and that is a big accomplishment. And it's the coaching staff that gets the credit for that. Switch McHale for Thibodeau and maybe you get a few additional wins the first half of the season, but then you lose Asik to plantar fasciitis and we wind up exactly where we are, or maybe even worse.

This is not surprising. Lin and Asik are both good players, but both are flawed. Lin doesn't have enough range and isn't a good defender. Asik causes spacing problems on offense. A good coach will always need to substitute players--even good ones like Lin and Asik--who have limitations like those.

    *Yawn

We're 34-29 in a very tough Western Conference and just beat the team ahead of us on their home floor yet you're still here b****ing about rotations. Doesn't sound like much of a Rockets fan to me.

And yes, I think Harden could afford to spend more time on the bench. My guess is the coaching staff would prefer to rest him more, but he wants to be on the floor and they defer to him because superstar.

You're also intentionally misquoting me. This seems to be a habit of you and people like you - misquote and exaggerate. You should be a politician.

Fir the record I'm NOT b****ing about last night. I thought it was a great win and McHale finally got the rotations right. I'm just saying there is a pattern that has been going on ALL SEASON and I'm afraid he will revert back to it. Do you want to know what the pattern is? You should know it but because of your un-ubjectivity you probably don't.

You're right. Just replying to how the question was asked. Should've said it this way.

Seems like most team hate their coach o_O

Also, Mark Jackson is dreadful. Someone start a tank thread. We need to miss the playoffs for him to get fired.

Again...I have been preaching...fired that fool.

This loss is on Jackson. WTF was he thinking? The ball should be in Currys hand, not JJ. And for gods sake can someone tell draymond to stop shooting threes? Most of the other guys played good, it was Jackson's stupidity that cost us the game.

Jackson seems frozen when stuff gets tight.

Like how Lin Fans use Asik as their little pawn when trying to state their case for why McHale benches Lin.

It's the regular season and we are comfortably in our playoff berth, so no, it shouldn't all be about W's and L's. Last night was a special case--a winnable away game against the only remaining team we could possible pass in the standings. If you want a team's starters to go all-in like that in every game, you might get a few extra wins but you won't have a team left when the playoffs come.

Except in 2 Dallas losses where each played < 26 minutes. In the Dallas home loss Lin played 18 and Asik 20.

Sorry but your facts are wrong. Lin started 25 games for the Knicks.

And they both played above 35 minutes last night, and in a few other games this season. That's why if you want to have a reasonable discussion about PT, you go by minutes per game. You don't get to just cherry pick the games where they play less.

Oh, I guess you don't have an argument at all if we don't let you just cherry pick the games where Lin & Asik played < 25 minutes and it was a L. We can just stop here.

I love the "Lin is not a good defender" talking point like its sooo last year. Have you seen any of the games this year? Did you see the game last night? Why do you say this after Lin shut down curry in the 4th Q. You know Lin and Asik are listed as top 20 candidates for DPOY?
