Preview. Looks like they got along well when they were in Houston though. A little chat in the beginning. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/EoIYwRf9E0g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Anybody who thinks Gortat and J.O. being out is definitely good for the Rockets don't realize that Asik plays better against more traditional centers, and McHale's infatuations with playing to other team's strengths and not his own. Scola's 18ft jumper could give Asik as much trouble as B Lopez did the last game against the Nets, and when the older Makieff moves to the 5 when Scola sits, he's got range out to 3 and can draw Asik out of the paint. Phoenix should be better playing small ball than us, because we lose so much when Asik's not on the floor. Plus the Wizards were also on the back-end of a back-to-back when they stole on from us. I hope McHale doesn't let "the other team steal one from us" via his poor substitutions.
The Rockets should win, but this game scares the hell out of me. All the ex-Rockets with something to prove.
You do know that Gogi vs Lin is going to be overshadowed by Scola's performance? Expect Scola to have a massive game against the Rockets, I promise you that.
This is the thing... after winning an important game like we did last night, i see that transferring over to tonight. I sense we blow out Pheonix. Our confidence will be high to get the 6th seed. Lin, Harden and Parson will play even better. The chemistry of these three are good. Offseason we just need to get a superstar power forward and a great 6th man type star player. We will be straight then.
Expect SkyRimsOwnAll to spill most of his DNA onto the wooden floor in his basement once Gogi scores a pt.
Unfortunately, it's true that the loss of Gortat and O'Neal provides McSuccess with a golden opportunity to indulge into his small ball fetishism. Keep your blood pressure medication ready when McSuccess rolls out with a line-up like this in the 4th: Bev Harden Parsons/Garcia Delfino T-Rob
Going to be tough since it's going to be a back to back game and we know how well Lin does in those. Add in Dragic will definitely look to show that the Rockets made a mistake by not giving him a players option along with Scola/Morris playing former team.
It should be an easy win. Bad team made worse through injuries. Ideally, the Suns want the Rockets to finish with a higher seed than the Lakers. They own the Lakers first round pick.
