Just got home. Saw the last 2 minutes on ESPN 2. Game summary anyone? Looks like Parsons was the only one shooting well based on the box score. Was the score so low because we played better D or did both teams just play well bad and we play a little better. I need some info! This is only the 2nd game I've missed this season.

LOL, i saw that too, but I think Harden was pissed at refs, he was like "come on guys, that was a foul", then he saw Asik was the guy fouling him, lolol

our defense was still terrible, luckily GS missed some wide open shots.

Great win against a soft team. Harden had an off night. His defense was decent for most of the night but here is one sequence I really lol'ed and have to share with it.

Harden reminded me so much of Westbrook on this one! Parsons and, to a less extend, Lin are all guilty of -- ballwatching!

The Warriors suck, like how did they allow the Rockets to sweep the series like that?

It seems we have some disconnect here. The Rox think their defense won the game. We have good examples here that it was just the Warriors' inept offense that lost the game. So, my question is why are the Rox acting like it was their soft defense that won the game then? Why can't they just admit the Warriors couldn't close the game because they went cold? The defense shouldn't take credit if that credit is not actually earned. It just becomes covering up where real problems actually exist.

Pretty sure they've acknowledged there lack of defense after a lot of games. And by Rocket's standards this was a great defensive game.

LOL..saw that...but props to Harden for running immediately when he saw the ball being pass out to the perimeter..

Actually, this was the first game which I saw Harden making great effort on his D..still a long way to go but at least he is trying....

Credit to McHale for learning from the Mavs game and playing Asik and Lin most of the 4th. Hopefully he learns from this game that TRob and Smith in at the same time is not a good idea

Agree. Harden has a habit of ballwatching, but this game he tried his best on defense.

    Rebounding machine: Asik
Free Throw machine: Harden not Haren this time
Eremy Lin in attacking mode plus decent defense
    Score machine: Pasons
    X factor: Defino

Got up at 5:30AM to watch the DVR

Asik's rebounding was the difference in winning and losing this game.
(it was generally pretty sloppy by both teams)

He is very high on Rockets team. In the first half, he praised Rockets all the time and Rockets was down 13 points.

I'll try to sum up the things which I observed on this game which i think validates why we can claim that we won this game due to our Defense..

I'll focus on their 4th quarter D because that's where they had taken it a notch higher..

    1. They tried closing-in on their man for 1on1..GSW can't get an open look easily..

    2. Asik was defending David Lee..that was the best move made by coach because Delfino is no match for him...They let Delfino guard the guy named Ezeki (?)

    3. They were rotating when needed..and knows where to rotate so as not to create a bigger mismatch ( Harden-Curry-Lin-Thompson-Delfino )

    4. Our Guards didn't commit stupid fouls to their guards...it was huge...it is as if they knew that Asik will be there in case they blow by them...that said, Asik was the major reason we win this game..He was a beast in the defensive board..

    5. Lin's defense on Curry was "tiresome" to watch...both man was so quick..can't take ur eyes off them because one thing you'll know they were already at the paint..

and the most important of them all...

    6. Harden's defense was an improvement..Guess it was the major factor...his team-mates were able to concentrate on their man without worrying about his man...
