Honestly don't know how we won this game. We played really badly and made poor decisions down the stretch. Very frustrating game to watch but when we were shooting those free throws to ice the game the biggest smile came to my face, lol.

I'm really pumped to see the Rockets play some good defense for once. If you play good defense, you give yourself a chance to win even if you have a poor offensive night (Rockets only shot 36%).

    Great win.

this was my MAIN argument about people hating on the coach. he's done a phenomenal job this season taking a rockets team whos season was suppose to be a "learning" season getting our chemistry together and learning how to play together. If you remember at the beginning of the season we were projected not to even make the playoffs. But he's taken the youngest team in the league and turned them into not just a playoff team, but playoff contenders.

coach gets the upmost respect from me even with his mistakes. this is still our trial and error season. he needs to switch up things every now and then to see what we have. We could have another Lin on the bench waiting for his time to shine.

I found out as long as I have beer in my Rockets glass, they win. Here's to a full glass!

How about that 4th quarter D? That's playoff basketball there.

There was an article that compared Jeremy Lin and Raymond Felton in terms of pick and roll tendencies. Cutters were a key aspect for Linsanity. It would be good if Houston can develop some good cutters for him to use.

Here's the portion (emphasis mine) of the article about Jeremy's tendencies to prefer cutters in pick-and-roll situations. From ESPN, http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/47791/felton-over-lin-are-the-knicks-lin-sane

I don't drink much but for me its 3/4 of a BOTTLE OF WINE. This is now the 3rd game where when I drink more than half a bottle of wine the rockets win! lol..i don't think my liver can keep though... i'm 3 for 3 on wine bottles and rockets wins...lets see if I can keep this up through the playoffs

No one disputes Harden's importance to this team. It was rough night for practically everyone. Whew.

LOL. Trolling or just stupid. I vote for both.

Lin turned it over once the whole game.

I would like to congratulate Mchale on this win, good to bring asik and lin back into the 4th Quarter mix. He is not as boneheaded and stubborn as we thought he was. He is relativity new to coaching.;)

His assists, reboundings, steals, and charity points were huge in this game. Parsons was gold in terms of shooting, but Lin/Asik/Harden made critical contributions to help seal this game.

Agreed, id like to see him focus more on getting other players the ball when he has nights like this. He took a lot of unneeded shots. Just glad it worked out for him

LOL, I'm watching the Warriors post game right here, and they're debating whether or not they should have kept Lin or Ellis. (Warriors playing Bucks tommorow). One of them said, well I wish we had Lin than the guy we got for him...oh wait, we didn't get anyone for him. Then another guy is like, well if Lin was on this team, who would he start over, not Curry or Thompson. I'm like thinking, isn't Lin 3-0 against you guys? LOL. He was beasting in 2/3 of the games, and while he got a couple of boneheaded plays today, (as everyone else), he hit some clutch to beat the Warriors. LOL.

Just realized the rockets held the warriors to 12 points in the 4th. Defense wins games in the end

Well it bothered nearly everyone else, then. They seemed a little jittery tonight, not finishing their usual shots with authority. Hope they recover for next game.

Easy now. Lin definitely isn't starting at PG over Curry right now. Haven't seen enough of Thompson but he's a solid player.
If Lin can get a consistent shot and work on his handles to he can handle those hard double teams (like Dallas showed him) better he can be better than Curry. But if I'm coaching GS right now and it's Curry or Lin I'm definitely going with Curry right now.
Lin probably wouldn't develop on GS like he has the chance to here.
