beverley has earned a spot in the rotation BUT:

    1) he has NO BUSINESS finishing games. he just isn't a threat offensively unless he is ON FIRE--he functions as an outlet guy and a guy who dribbles past half court and throws it to harden, and an pesky (but not necessarily better) defender.

    2) he has NO BUSINESS being out there without harden or lin also in the backcourt. why does mchale waste the opportunity to maximize staggering harden and lin's minutes with the ball in their hands? when beverley is out there by himself the offense becomes delfino or parsons launching 3s only with no dribble penetration and no pick n roll. JVG said it right tonight: the rockets want 3 kinds of shots: 3 pointers, layups, and free throws. with beverley only in the game they shoot 3s. if they get hot like they did against the mavs, mchale falls in love and throws beverley in to play out the 4th....no good.

Beverly is being too timid with his shot. He has turned down multiple good looks from 3 in the past 3 games, and most of those possessions ended up with a bad shot. That's why I said, if he's going to be timid offensively, then he needs to sit.

well its either smith, robinson, jones, or delfino backing up dmo. delfino can't play 4 all the time.

Yes he should. Had a bad one tonight but that happens with rooks. Brings a different skillset than our other forwards. Give the guy some time to develop!!!

we need rebounders in the game. asik cannot grab all the boards and I dont want to see delfino get posted up by the 4 s of the opposing team. If he doesn't know what to do with the ball right now, then don't pass him the rock.

Maybe play him as center when go small, Greg smith is pretty bad anyway.

Why should T-Rob be out of the rotation when he is already better than Donuts? He is a better rebounder and shot-blocker. People are far too impressed with a few nice post moves. A big man should figure out being a good paint protector first before showing stuffs on offense and T-Rob, with his elite athleticism, great motor and speed is already more developed than Donuts in that aspect. I would like to see T-Rob develop alongside Asik, the advantage they will give in terms of rebounding and rim protection can be huge.

t rob brings size and athleticism that non of our bigs have. i'd just keep in the rotation and let him develop he has a decent upside. he would probably be a good 6th man for us in the future

You are confused if you think Trob is better than Dmo.

I say let him play like he did today, if he does well give him some time and if not sit him. Hopefully he can develop to be a player that can push Dmo.

Dmo can score a lot of points and fast. I think when he gets more comfortable and his teammates get more comfortable with him that we will see some high scoring very efficient games from him. I also believe his D and rebounding will continue to improve.

We are short handed at 4, Dmo, Trob, jones, 2 of these 3 guys should give time to play, pray it wont cost us playoff spot.
