He just doesn't fit the offense because he doesn't spread the floor and the Rockets don't really pass the ball into the post. His defense and rebounding is pretty good.

I agree. Beverly while sometimes a pest on defense (depends on who he is guarding) he misses A lot of open guys if you just watch him, dribbles too long, and can't really score.

I think Brooks may be better as the backup for this team and the style they play.

Next PF up, bring in Royce White. Could only help at this point. I sure miss Patrick Patt to be 100% honest. Him and DMO splitting the time would have been money $$$

I think we should give Ohlbrecht some run.

Lee scored on Trob pretty easily something like 3 buckets straight; but his D got better as the qtr went along. When Lee went out he played solid D on the PnR and got a couple steals and some Rebounds in space. I think the missed dunk is what everyone is focusing on.

    Of course he should be.

He's as unpolished as you can be offensively, but that's not his role right now. He plays solid defense, tries hard, can run the floor, rebounds well, and he's depth at by far our weakest position.

Not saying he's done all that well so far, but I think he's being vastly over-criticized. Give him some time.

3 rebounds and 2 steals in 9 minutes is pretty good IMO. He is a rookie after all being thrown in the fire.

Again.. TRob did good on David Lee on defensive end.. Watch it again how contested those shoots by David Lee took in 1st qrt when Trob is on him.. Those were tough baskets

is that why he got benched in the entire 2nd half? Because he did good? No, he didn't.

I think the guy who should be out now may be Greg Smith. At least Robinson makes some stuff happen with his headless chicken energy act.

I guess he should never play again because a 2x all-star scored on him.

Why can't Robinson be Scottie Pippen!?

T-Rob is in there based on his draft position and rep only at this point. there is a reason he couldn't really get run in SACRAMENTO. from a developmental point of view there is no reason to think he would do much better than T-Jones would if given the same opportunity. he's young and has potential to be a good hustle guy. he just looks really undersized for the 4 though.

Well your opinion is clearly fact...

There is a lot to like about him. Namely, he is a ROOKIE. Jeez people, wtf is wrong with all of these haters? Nobody is saying he is Chris Webber but give him some time to develop! ****, give him some time to get used to his new team first! All these rushed judgements are asinine and most of these haters are probably UT fans who have nightmares of the guy from when he was at Kansas.

Also, he plays defense!! Or he at least gives the effort. What other player on the Rockets offers the intensity, athleticism, and hustle that he has showed so far? At least give him a chance before you write him off as a "bad player." He hasn't even played a full season in this league! These criticisms are just mind-boggling.

his defense isn't there yet and is limited offensively. More Gerald Wallace than poison. If he is as good as Gerald, that would be amazing
dmo should still star because he is so gifted offensively and spreads the floor. Kid is the future and will be the pf for next decade

If he plays well he is in the rotation, if he doesn't he is out.

His anchilles is his free throws....if you are an attacker you may also be a liability if you can't shoot free throws. He grow no doubt.

I'm surprised we did not try to bring him along more slowly, like we usually do with rookies (especially rookie big man). I think we're showcasing him for a trade after the season ends.

Listen, for a rookie he did all right. Not even Mchale is going to keep him out there and let him get slaughtered. If he is getting steals against a player like Carl Landry, out muscling him to get postion in the post, and covering the PnR effectively NOW when the game is obviously too fast for him, how do you think he will do when he actually gets accustomed to the game?

    He did fine.

Yes because McHale ALWAYS makes TERRIFIC decisions about the rotation....

Wow you are the worst kind of troll...with an axe to grind I guess. Good thing nobody is going to buy into your absurdity.
