ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 3/8/2013

Thank god, I thought we were going to see a lot of LOFs baiting with McHale hate. It did happen but you guys have been pretty chill.

 

I'm just glad we got this one!! Now let's win it all tomorrow!

 

In my initial post i said he didn't have a bad game OVERALL, but those crunch time mins him, along with hardens plays did almost cost us the game. The only reason i didnt include harden in my initial post is because the person i was replying to was strictly referring to Lin.

And i agree with you on the second part completely. Like i said i wasn't putting the blame on lin, i was pointing out some outrageous statements that were made.

It's funny that people point out my posts saying im a LOH, and completely disregard the posts in this thread saying "lin is stupid" "Lin sucks get him out" "lin is r****ded" "get lins stupid ass out the game" all quotes from this thread, but yet everyone will disregard it and nit pick a post of mine. When ive never ONCE said jeremy lin sucks, or is stupid. You can't find one post of me saying he sucks.

 

well, Harden still gets in to the paint at will, so I wouldn't be so worried about him.
Just not finishing well. It'll come around.

OMG guys, in between timeouts, I kept checking the Raptors vs Lakers boxscore and was delighted to see the Raptors doing the spanking.

Now I check again and see the Lakers won? how the hell did they overcome a 20pt deficit again?
And then I saw it, horrified and in disbelief...

Raptors - 16 free throw attempts
Lakers - 36 free throw attempts

Im so proud of the Rockets who are where they are thanks to their talent and who unlike the Lakers, don't need Stern to blatantly spoon feed us the wins just so our sorry asses can even get to the playoffs, pathetic bums

 

hes only the top 5 scorer in the league, 2 iffy games + a injury and your overacting already? Harden is our TAKE OVER guy in the clutch bum leg and all.
Parsons is becoming a star and lins iffy from night to night.

 

Asik rebounding down the stretch needs to happen every game from now on & into the playoffs otherwise I will strangle McHale.

Lin & harden did some stupid stuff down the stretch man. Lin Harden PNR should be our go to play all the time. Drive & get to the FT line.

Not passing to Parsons was kind of suspect.

Defense in the 4th was terrific.

 

He did that 3 times tonight. Like you said, he needs to stop doing that unless he sees someone cutting to the basket. Otherwise he should just pull and reset.

 

It's not a horrible game. He got his points...but we got bailed out a lot by refs admittedly this game.

More like strong defense and Asik's remarkable rebounding is what won the game.

 

We got 34 attempts too, so i guess refs r helping us now that we are 7th?

We won this game and asik playing big minutes and closing the game was the key. Hopefully he won't sit out any more 4ths

 

I agree I was shocked he managed to keep his dribble alive in that possession where he nearly fell out of bounds but passed to Garcia in the corner.

 

I give props to McHail for this game...he stuck to his core players (Harden/Lin/Asik/Parsons) and it paid off. Having Lin in the game keeps the other team in check as he's a great penetrator.
