    Its ok...Kobe is on a tear right now...but with 20 something games left...if others dont step up...the Lakers will not make the playoffs...guaranteed...

    For reals though, Kobe was sensational. But the Lakers don't play as a team. Even the Hornets and Raptors just had much better execution (until the predictably bad crunchtime). I just can't see the Lakers going anywhere no matter how many close wins they eek out.

    Lakers still not impressive. They are beating sorry teams and had to have miraculous comebacks just to win against those sorry teams. I'll give Kobe his credit but that team will get stomped by any of the playoff teams in the west.

    I think they'll make the playoffs, prob. the #8 seed, but they are going to be so burned out by the time the first round rolls around, that coupled with their age and having to play a well-rested Spurs or Thunder team... can you say sweep?
