No David Lee is really good luck, because he was killing us. Delfino at the four was a key for our comeback.

 

Funny because Beverly got toasted worse than Lin and when Jeremy came back in he shut Curry down for the rest of the 2nd.

For whatever reason Lin seems to always give Curry trouble.

 

Golden state is saying the same thing about Thomas Robinson .

 

now you need to know why statistics works? don't worry. in most cases, shots will fall to bring their % back to normal eventually.

 

While he certainly didn't play well, it's not wise to pair him up Smith. That was just ridiculous.

Beverley doesn't assist that much but he does provide excellent defense and puts ton of pressure on guards. I've lost count how many guards have almost committed a turnover or have committed one when hes on them. Also he can shoot the 3 ball pretty well and gets a good amount of steals. I think this is why he plays down the stretch his defense is really good especially in crunch time.

 

Lin played solid d against curry after the first few minutes....curry hit a three and a great contested sot off the back board....Lin stays out on curry he will make it tough for him

Lin is playing very good D on Curry tonight. He was bad against Mike James.

 

His defense was . . . subpar.

The hate on Harden is strong here. That or it's the knee-jerk. The one time he got blocked at the 3 point line is a failure on the team. Smith went to set a screen but he ran away after, leaving his man also on Harden. While double teamed, no one came out to help Harden while the clock ran down. Harden had to heave one up late in the shot clock but had it blocked. The team has to play together and be more aware when someone is trapped and help out.

In any event, someone posted earlier about how our most effective lineup was Harden-Lin-Delfino-Parsons-Asik. I liked what I was seeing when they were in there 2nd quarter. Great job coming back.

 

Beverly would be able to do the same on curry imo. Jeremys looking tired and ragged on defense. I doubt he will play 18 minutes in the second half. I'm positive he's looking at 6 minute 3rd and 6 minute fourth.

 

Glad David Lee is helping Lin out....no wonder Lin's 4-0 against his old teams.:grin:
