In the post immediate before yours, I described how McHale can influence the offense and defense, quite contrary to your assertion that I've stated that McHale has no input on offense or defense. So your statement and assessment of my words is materially incorrect.

I was obviously talking about McHale having input on the offensive & defensive schemes and not that "McHale has an effect on offense & defense via substitutions and adjustments, but not the X's & O's" bullcrap you're trying to pull here. Believe what you want. I think deep down even you know that you don't really know what you're talking about here, but you obviously won't admit that. That's fine. Just don't try to BS around, presenting some theory of yours as a fact.

Even your representation of my words as being ""McHale has an effect on offense & defense via substitutions and adjustments, but not the X's & O's" is incorrect since I mention McHale's playcalling out of time outs, if you count that as X's and O's. The lack of set plays and the use of a read-and-react system with counters and no set plays has been mentioned by many in interviews, such as Parsons. I just don't like Finch not getting his deserved credit for the offense, just as Woodson deserved credit for the defensive improvement under D'Antoni.
