    EXACTLY!
This loss has got his fingerprints all over it. HORRIFIC sub patterns, benching Lin or/and Asik in the crunch time, sticking with players for too long and not making any adjustments, calling a timeout and then not even running a play out of said timeout...

Mchale may be too old to learn how to be a good HC.

I also say, promote Finch already.

i don't know what Sampson is teaching on defense, but we should abandon the help defense for now. Just everyone stick to you man, and if your man gets hot, you get benched. (Yes, I'm looking at you, James.)

Coaches must hold guys accountable for their defense. It's pathetic to see guys running around and still opponents are wide open at the 3pt line.

I hate McHale , i dislike his questionable rotation and decision in some games.
But then , you guys are overreacting .
You don't sack your coach when your team is overachieving , you sack him when the team is underachieving !

They are the most underachieving team in the league
Based on actual wins vs expected wins by stats

i don't know where you get those stats , you're probably based on current expectation game by game .
Rockets was projected to win 30-35 games before the season started , they're currently with 33 wins with 20 games to go , that's Overachieving.
Give some credits to the coaching staff to put Rockets at such position now.

I don't want him fired now, but short of getting the team no less then a respectable second round exit, I would be on the hunt for a new Head Coach. Although given how much McHale lets Morey have his hands on things in ways other coaches may not appreciate we might see McHale for a while.

What you said basically mean fire McHale after this season since we will most likely get into playoff as a 7th/8th seed and face Thunder or Spurs.
Remember , no one including Rockets fans expected the team make it to the playoff before the season started , and we're on pace to do so.If we do, McHale deserves credit to at least lead the team for another year.
I'm not a fan of his , but credit where it's due, you can argue he lost some winnable games, but he also won some loseable games

When Mchale was on leave, Sampson said that Finch ran the offense. If so, then isn't it Finch's job to draw up a play?

    Here's the conversation:

McFail - "Finch, what we do we do now?"
    Finch - "Beardsanity."
    McFail - "Oh...yes. Brilliant!"
Finch - "We're done here. I'm heading to the locker room."

I thought we needed McHale because we are transitioning so we need a someone who can really "bring down" the team. But I guess we are almost done with rebuilding.

    HAHAHAHA

You know, that was my take on it too. Perhaps, we might see someone else at the end of the season. Oh how glorious it will be.
