Will Lin play in the 4th quarter tonight?

  1. Yes, it's been three games already where Lin hasn't played in the 4th

I'm giving a Lin a 4:1 odd of playing in 4th and a 50/50 chance of him closing out.

Maybe, maybe not. But who cares, as long as GSW gets a beat-down?

Look, unless Lin bombs, if its a close game I can guarantee you, he will close the game and it wouldn't matter how Beverly does. Book it. McHale doesn't admit his mistakes but he is still a coward (cant think of a better word). He knows he will be blamed if we lose with Lin on the bench again.

That said if he played Beverly again despite it, I will actually respect him more because he truly believes what he is doing is right. Because all these mixed signals BS from McHale needs to stop. If he really believes Beverly/Brooks and not Lin are the type of PG that the team really needs, he needs to make a stance now.

He goes with whichever player he feels is giving the team the better chance to win that game. You shouldn't expect him to stubbornly stick to the same combination of players each game regardless of the opponent or how the game is going.

    QFT.

"Coward" is indeed the best word to describe McSuccess. Being a head coach, he has NEVER admitted faults on himself when team loses, it's always on the players.

That's the problem I have with him. He FEELS that TRob was a better choice than Asik last game. Nothing wrong with that if TRob was absolutely dominating. But he wasn't, and Asik transforms our defense to elite defense. And with him we absolutely trounces half court defense. Much of what we needed last night instead of giving up what CF here likes to call "lucky shots" from the Mavs.

At least if he stubbornly stick with something, I can have some expectation of how players will play. Right now I pretty much expect nothing but humor in tonights' rotation.

i think mchale got an earful from the bigwigs.

i mean lin did some stuff in 4th that was *smh*, but, still, helped secure the win. so yes, lin needs to be in the 4th.

he wouldve done if he just makes those layups lolz

It can't be all Harden in the fourth quarter. Lin being there in the fourth quarter offers other offensive options for the team, especially if the opposing team is focused on defending Harden. This showed tonight when both Lin and Harden were able to get to the FT line in the fourth quarter to seal the win, despite an ugly quarter.
